Not too long after Koraia and Huzzen returned to Engineering, there was a page. All systems were currently as stable as they had been.

=/\=Bridge to Engineering. Is it possible to improve our sensors any further? We’re detecting distortions in the EM background but we can’t pinpoint further. We might have company and our friends are helping to confirm if that is the case, but I don’t want to rely on that.=/\=

=^=Engineering here Captain. Maybe? It depends on what is causing the interference. Um… let me try a few things and I will get back to you Captain.=^=

Koria looked around Engineering as she thought through the options. Most likely the same particles that kept clogging up their power systems were also effecting the sensors. The question is was it on the sensors themselves? It couldn’t hurt to purge the sensor systems first to see what would happen.

“Lieutenant, let’s apply the same field pulse we did for the engines to the sensor systems. Perhaps that will help clear up the results.”

Lt Sutret - CE

“Aye, Chief,” Huzzen moved over to the sensor console and began programming the same field pulse algorithm into the sensor programming. It took her a few minutes. “Alright Chief, it’s ready to try.”

Lt. Huzzen, Engineer

Koria just nodded. “Go for it. Let’s see if that clears things up.”

Lt Sutret - CE

Navale’s fingers tapped over the controls, “Initiating…now.” She watched the screen and ship sensors to see if it had any effect.

Suddenly more details came in and with more clarity. Apparently it had done the trick.

“That was easy,” Koria muttered to herself as she looked over the scan results. Hopefully that little trick would keep working for them.

“Keep an eye on the sensors, and anytime we make an adjustment for the engines, update the settings for the sensors as well,” she said raising her voice.

=^= Engineering to the Bridge. We were able to clear up the sensors using the same field pulse we used to get the engines working. I recommend that we don’t spend too much time in here, because it’s only a matter of time before we have further system impacts. =^=

“On it!” Navale called out with maybe a little too much enthusiasm. She loved her job and if it kept the ship and crew running smooth and safe it was fun. She kept an eye on the engines and as she adjusted she adjusted the sensors as well.

=/\=Kane to Sutret. Lt. could we get a team down here on deck 14 triage. I need to know if we can set up the outside access doors to let a shuttle dock to the hull so we can offload patients.=/\=

Koria threw up her hands in a huff, “Of course! Let’s just cut a hole in the side of the ship!”

“Chief,” Huzzen spoke up. “The triage deck as exterior doors for loading patients for when the Ogawa lands planet side. I could attach a pleximer emergency tube (flexible seals to create an airtight connection - used in Star Trek Enterprise) pretty easily. I’ll have to space walk, and if I have a team and use the transporter welder, should take 45 minutes, an hour tops.”

Taking a deep breath Koria calmed herself down. =^= Sutret here. How quickly are you needing said access door? =^=
