Aaron strolled into main engineering looking rather disturbed, carrying a large duffle bag and a large composite backpack. He looked around as he entered looking from someone to help him. Calder was talk his firm forearms exposed by his rolled up sleeves. He was an odd site in yellow security tunic black tactical pants with enough pockets to store his own tool kit, with enough medical pouches and packs at his waist to service a small disaster team. “Could I get a hand?” he asked.Aaron Calder
USS Ogawa SecurityNavale was passing through the main bay and looked up. She didn’t paused, just walked right over and took a handful of items off the man. She was used to seeing people carry everything they owned on them at all times, or hoarding so much in a run that it was falling off them like leaves in the fall. That was at home though, where resources were scarce and you fought for each item that might or might not help you. It was an odd sight on a star ship. “How can I help you Lt?”

He look at his hands, then at her and smiled. “Calder”, he responded.
“Well my Grav locks for my climbing tent is failing and I don’t know why, I test them in the holodeck make sure they are working” he noted. “I do a lot of free climbing on my off time and like to make sure the gear is sold so” he paused. “Well so I don’t die a horrible death.” he noted.

USS Ogawa Security“Huzzen. And you’re in luck,” she smiled and started walking toward a side door. “Small machine diagnostics is my specialty. We’ll get it looked at.” She keyed the door and stepped into a small machine room. Full of tools and gadgets on tables that were in various states of repair or disassembly. She moved toward a table on the far right and set his gear down. She reached into a drawer and pulled out a rolled up canvas bundle. “Want to pull the tent out, and I’ll take a look.”

Calder smiled, she was at least entertaining, his life on the Chimera was full of noise, hurry up and wait and tones of getting shot at. “Sure” he said, “Just press the two grave locks against the wall and press green button.”

The locked hummed to life filling the room with its dull sound the small one man tent expanded and hung on the wall. “It works great till you actually get in it” he said pushing down on the edge, the hum became broken as he tried to climb in and then. Pop it came of the wall. Calder caught the tent, “Fine in here but when i’m 300 feet up a cliff not so much.” he smiled

USS Ogawa SecurityNavale stared intently at the tent, her brows drawing together making the etching’s on her forehead more pronounced. She flipped open a tricorder and reset the tent. “Push down on the tent again?” she asked as she ran the tricorder over the two antigrav pieces to make sure they were actually engaged correctly before he tried to ‘enter’ the tent again.

Aaron smiled as he thought of several inapproprait comments, he had been around marines to long. “Like this?” he said puting a little weight on the unit, much more and it would break lose. The read out showed the field around the joiners was faltering slightly.

Navale nodded, “Yes, just like that.” She studied the scans. She scanned both anchors and then hummed softly. “Thank you,” she set the tricorder down. “You can lett go.” She reached over and pulled the tent down and removed the anchors and with deft fingers opened them to show the inner working parts. “Hmmm I think the joiners have worn down.” She popped them out and set them on a diagnostic scanner to get a look at the physical and mechanical integrity.
