-^- Chief Sutret, NE Didn’t Do It asked me to tell you he didn’t do it. I’m not sure I believe him though, I think he did do it. I know for sure it wasn’t me who did it, anyway. NE Tattletale -^-

“What is he talking about…” Koria trailed off as the lights suddenly started to flash and alarms went off.

“What are they doing up there?” Koria asked no one as she ran for the master display board. It almost looked like the energy from the nebula was penetrating their shields, causing havoc with the ships systems.

“Modulate the shield frequency, block out as much as you can. Isolate critical systems to the core of the ship, and either cut off or ground any systems close to the hull. We need to stabilize the ship ASAP. Go!” Koria started calling out orders as she started isolating the warp core, the last thing they needed was a power spike causing it to have unintended catastrophic failure.

“Aye Chief!” Huzzen called as she stepped over to the auxilary control panel. Her fingers tapped over the controls, rerouting power and cutting connections to the core systems to protect them.

The ship’s systems continued to fluctuate, lights began to flicker and consoles began to turn on and off again, like an IT support technician trying to perpetually fix a broken computer. NE Senko cursed as the computer station he was working at ceased to function for a second. He hit it with his fist in frustration, he had been trying to run a diagnostic on the ship’s systems. He turned round looking for the Chief.
“Chief, it seems we’ve got a problem with the systems. Wherever we are, seems to be effecting the ship in some way.” He explained, helpfully.
