“Lt? Here are the latest updates from the repair teams.”

“Thank you Petty Officer,” Koria said taking the offered PADD. She was standing in front of a green status board, but even the greenest engineer in the fleet could tell you that the work wasn’t done. The years teams weren’t always the best at the details, there had been plenty of times where she had caught them doing the bare minimum. Specs would say minimum of one relay, recommended was 3, so there would just be missing relays.

“Have our teams looked at it yet?”

“Ensign Daniel’s has looked at the power distribution grid on deck 5, and is headed to the sensor nodes. DC 4 did a structural check on the hull repairs.”

“And the shield emitters?”

“I’m headed there next.”

“Good. I think we should be good doing a warp core full power up test this afternoon.”

“Agreed ma’am.”

“Keep me updated on what the teams find.”

The Petty Officer nodded before he headed off as Koria turned towards the board. The question was where was the mistake that they had missed.

It had been several hard days of work double checking the work of the stations repair teams, but they were finally done. And it appeared just in time as she had just seen the message that they were leaving.

“Let’s do one last check of our systems as we head out,” Koria called out. One last double check could never hurt she thought. As a chorus of responses rang out, Koria wondered what Starfleet had decided was their next mission.
