“Thank you, Jefferson. Please pass my regards onto your family.” Sha’ow says cheerfully as they work down the ramp to the shuttle bay floor.

Jefferson says nothing and Sha is pretty sure they heard the words “insane, thank goodness and hmm” as the door hissed shut.

Duffle bag slung over one shoulder ears picking up the sounds, the air tingled with the warling energies they’d expected from a starship.

Whiskers twitching he walks up to the nearest shuttle bay team member, a Bolian in yellow.

“Hello there!” Their voice a high pitch, thickly accented and almost singsong like, ” I am required by Starfleet regulations to announce myself, Ensign Sha’ow reporting for embarkation… Well my shuttle has left so I’m stuck here anyway.” They smile nervously at the Bolian.
