She nodded. “Sounds pretty reasonable.” Despite the peculiarities of her record, she was glad he seemed to just go with everything. Aspects of her recovery were hard enough and she just wanted this part to be easier. “I’m not cleared for full duty yet, but shadowing people isn’t strenuous and I have quarters now. How about I do a couple hours at a time and see how things go. My med team will tell me if I’m overdoing it, but honestly at this point I think we’re wanting to push my body at least a little bit.”

Achilleas nodded affably. “That sounds good to me. Do keep me updated on when you get clearance from medical and I’ll trust that you can be responsible with your limits. Do you have any questions Lieutenant Dalton?”

CSO Petrakos

Oh, she had many, but likely none he could answer, so Cori shook her head. “No, but thank you for taking the time to see me. This is all a bit weird for me, and I’m just muddling through as best I can.”

“Well if any come to mind just be sure my door is always open.” Achilleas said with a friendly smile. He could empathize for well with the idea of muddling through while trying to figure things out.

CSO Petrakos

She nodded. “I will.” Cori rose to her feet and offerred her hand. “It was good to meet you Lieutenant. I look forward to being a part of your team.” Team. It sounded so surreal. To have that word used and it actually mean something tangible was rather overwhelming.
