That did leave us without a CE. I’m so thrilled to welcome Hade Debaillie to the Ogawa. She’s a former member who has just returned and we used to RP together in my earlier days in the club. She’s a fantastic writer and I really look forward to her getting settled here on the ship.

Thanks for the warm welcome, Captain my Captain!

I arrived here tonight via Discord, after a nearly decade-long absence from STF. Before that, I was around off and on in various positions on various ships (most of which, sadly, seem to have either disappeared or been renamed during my absence). I always enjoyed playing CMO’s or Medical JO’s most, in the spirit of “I’m not a doctor, but at least I get to play one on the internet.” As such, I always wanted to join the Ogawa, but back when I was here last, there was a waiting list (no joke), and it just never happened.

It may not have happened this time either, if I hadn’t been willing to be the CE. This will be a first for me on STF, but don’t worry: I may never have played one on the internet, but I am an engineer in real life, at least by education ;). By profession, I teach.

I look forward to writing with all of you.

Welcome aboard! Glad to have you. I’ve never played an engineer either, and have no training. But Navale is your one and only JO. Hopefully we don’t blow up the ship!
