Over the comms in the Science Labs a female’s voice entered the room. =^=Engineering to Science Labs=^=

There is a clear pause, she seemed to be waiting for a response.

=^=What is going on down there? There seems to be a larger than normal power draw that is conflicting with something in the system.=^=

=/\=Uh hello? This is Ensign Stadtler. Are you sure the power draw is coming from the lab? Have you tried turning it off and on again?=/\=

=^= Ensign, this is Maria Chief Engineer. Doing so would mean that we momentarily cut power in the science labs. I was just making sure that you had nothing overly important going on. I would hate to ruin your important work.=^=

Stadtler looked around but didn’t notice any of the equipment running. =/\=Uh, I don’t see anything running in here. Is it something critical that you need to try and fix right away? If you can give me a few minutes I’ll do a quick but more in-depth check. Otherwise I’d say go ahead and cut the power.=/\=

NE Stadtler stood there as the lights went out and let out a quiet, “Huh.” It was very dark in the lab with the lights out but then the emergency lights dimly illuminated the area. Since none of the equipment were working and he had nothing to do, he pulled up a chair and waited.

=/\=Huzzen to Lt Petrakos. We have caught what was disrupting the power. We need to transfer it to a containment lab. Please advise when you are ready to have it transported in.=/\= Navale coordinated with the transporter room to lock onto the purple glitter goo while waiting for the go ahead.

Achilleas had come down to the science labs shortly after Stadtler had gotten the call and power had been cycled on and off. =/\=Petrakos here, give me… two minutes. I’ll get it set up and call you back.=/\=

It was a simple operation of a console to set a containment field up inside of a secured space. He forwarded the exact coordinates to engineering after verifying that the integrity of the field and container were both secure. =/\=Petrakos to Huzzen, ready for transport.=/\=
