Achilleas made his way to Solal’s quarters after that dreadful nightmare. He had showered and put on some off-duty clothes, keeping it casual and decent smelling. He arrived in front of the door to his destination and hit the chime.CSO Petrakos
Solal was asleep, at last, but despite his exhaustion, the chime was enough to wake him up. He pressed the button to open the door. The room was dark, as usual lately. Solal was in bed, looking tired, frail, and pale, his breaths somewhat shallow. He rolled over so he could see the door. “Achilleas?”

Achilleas walked through the door and let it close behind him. “Yeah, hey.” He said in the direction of Solal’s voice as his eyes adjusted to the dark. “I hope I’m not disturbing your sleep. I can come back if I am.”

Solal shook his head slightly, propping himself up on an elbow. “I won’t be able.. to get back to sleep.. anyway,” he pointed vaguely in the direction of the desk, “I need a nebuliser. Those are my… my breathing treatments.” He peeked at the nearest thing that offered him the time, flinching at the light it put out. “What brings you.. here so late?”
~ Solal
Achilleas nodded, though whether Solal would see in the dark was another question, and moved towards the desk to find the nebulizer. While he searched he answered kind of over his shoulder. “I uh, didn’t have the best night’s sleep myself. I wouldn’t have been able to get back to sleep and I wanted to check on you but I should’ve been more cognizant of the time.”

Solal reached up and turned the lights up a little so Achilleas could see better. The lights stayed dim, but light enough to give a faint glow to the room. “It’s okay. You should… try to sleep more. You need it. For duty tomorrow.”
~ Solal
After getting a bit more light Achilleas found the nebulizer and walked over to the bed with it. He gave a wry chuckle and a shake of his head as he handed it over. “I can tell you right now that I won’t be getting any more sleep tonight. Tomorrow…” He looked at the clock. “Later this morning is going to have to be my future self’s problem.”
