Achilleas was relaxing in his quarters during his time off. He was in casual comfy attire for lounging around and some adorable pink bunny slippers. He had a PaDD in one hand and a glass of wine in the other, his feet were crossed at the ankles while resting upon the coffee table.

Everyone was settling into the new normal and a thought had slipped into her mind earlier while in her ready room. How weird was that? her ready room. More times than she liked to admit, Dira forgot she was the captain now. Aside from a different office and slightly different reports, it felt very much the same. The same interpersonal situations, the same department reports and weekly department head meetings. It was nice in a lot of ways. The lack of upheaval meant she could be a bit more at ease with the transition.

So, having gone through her day and checking on a key detail to make sure her quarry was even home, Myqian arrived on Deck Three and pressed the chime to Achilleas’ quarters.

“It’s open!” Achilleas called out while thinking it might be Solal coming for a visit. He would quickly find out that it wasn’t but regrets for not personally answering the door would belong to a future him.

Dira stepped in, still in her uniform, but seeming at ease, her expression relaxed. Then her eyes landed on the slippers and she grinned. “I suppose I should consider my question answered,” she said, her dark eyes meeting his. It wasn’t just the slippers of course, but his demeanour and the other signs he was actually taking it easy.
