Navale rubbed a finger along her brow, tracing the etchings as she stared at the random looking bits and pieces to the hyperspanner she’d disassembled. She’d examined every piece of it, and now knew what had broken and it was an easy fix. Unfortunately the replicator on the runabout wasn’t meant to create such a delicate and complex component, nor did she have the right tools to fix the part, and the runabout didn’t carry such specific spare parts.

=/\=Lt we are arriving at the Ogawa in five minutes.=/\= Navale looked up in surprise. Five minutes? Surely she hadn’t lost 3 hours tinkering with the spanner? She glanced at her wrist watch. (Yes she wore a very old fashioned self winding watch. She loved it and all the tiny little gears and pieces). Yes, three hours were gone. She grabbed a small container and carefully placed all the pieces from the spanner into it and sealed it, then she tossed it into her bag. Checking her appearance in the bunkroom’s mirror, she made sure her uniform was straight and free of any grease, not that it would stay that way, and then headed for the small transporter pad.

The new engineer was met in the transporter room by a very oddly bubbly officer who handed her a packet and asked her to switch out her comm badge. Then she offered to give Navale a tour which she declined. “I can find my way, but thank you Ensign. I would like to start my check-ins.”

Lt Huzzen checked the schedule she was given. “GALEN?”

=/\=Yes Lt Huzzen?=/\= The Coridanite woman grinned, “My appointments aren’t for a few hours, is it possible to be seen earlier in medical or psychiatry?”

=/\=You may go to either location and the receptionist will fit you in when there is an opening. You may need to wait.=/\= Navale nodded to herself and moved on down to the nearest turbolift and to deck 7. She found her way into the psychiatry suite and walked up to the desk. “Hello, I’m Lt Navale Huzzen. I know I’m early but I was hoping I could wait and maybe get an earlier time, or I can come back.”
