Dira spent a bit of time packing her office, but the issue she had brought up with Sinclair sat foremost in her mind. Instinctively, she knew it was the right move if it was what he wanted. Dira suspected she was right on the mark with this one though and as such, made her way to Solomon’s office. She had put on the headband when she returned to her office after the bridge and was still wearing it now.

Pressing the chime, she wondered what pithy comment he’d toss her to commemorate her promotion. The thought made her smile.

Captain Myqian, CO

The door slid open and the figure of the Chief Science Officer was.. well… what those who knew who the CSO was had come to expect. The office in disarray, the piles of PaDDs, strange bits of tech scattered everywhere, and the CSO himself leaned back in his chair with is feet on one of the only clear spots on the desk reading an actual book.

As the door opened, Kane didn’t look up. He simply said “If you expect me to call you ma’am or sir or captain… you know you are gonna be really disappointed, right?” and he gestured to the only empty chair in the room.
