So, if you haven’t heard yet, Calé has had to resign as CO due to health issues. She has been synonymous with the Ogawa and together she and I resurrected a decommissioned ship for the first time in club history. I am going to miss our partnership on as CO and XO immensely. But hopefully she’ll be back at some point and join our adventures in some capacity when she is able.

I will be talking to Calé about how she wants to have Talyor’s departure handled IC, so stay tuned for that, but for the moment we are going to be vague IC and deal with it when we can. But let’s assume a positive reason.

New CO: A new CO has been appointed and its’s drumroll… myself. I promised Calé I would take care of the ship and intend to do just that. I will need all your support to do so, as a Captain is only as good as the team they have supporting them.

New XO: With Dira moving into the CO spot, we need a new XO. I’m very happy to announce that our very own James Sinclair will be jumping into the seat. He’s bringing in a different character. I’ve RP’d with them before, and very excited to have them join us. It’s going to be fun!

CSO: With James bringing in a different character, he can’t be both XO and CSO, so Kane will be shifted out of the CSO role, but remain in the Science Dept.

This means we need a CSO. We also need a CE. If anyone here wants to take on one of these roles, please let me know!

The Main Sim: I will still be co-GMing with Geoff (another club first) and we are working on expanding the story to include other departments more clearly. But we might need people to jump in here and there with NEs. Please look for opportunities to participate so we can keep the story moving along.

James and I will be working out the IC transition and once we get that sorted out, we’ll get things moving IC.
