Kane stood up and said “Won’t be me.” and then he looked at the Chief of Staff. “Hey Walker, I’ll have the lab on standby for testing. Let me know if you need anything special and I’ll get ya the results as fast as we can.” Kane then just walked out the door.

Bonner stood from her chair. “I’ll get an initial treatment team put together within the hour.” She left the conference room, looked up and down the corridor and then turned left. “Dr. Kane, do you have a moment?”

And you will not dismiss the idea out of hand.” She also knew if he said it couldn’t be done, then it couldn’t be. But if it was probable he would do it.
