Kane walked out of his office and looked around the lab. There was work going on and everyone seemed engaged, and that was good. But he had had an idea that required some extra perspective and help, and he was deciding at that moment who he could ask.

“Lieutenants Savel and Wells. Come to my office. I need your assistance.” and he turned and walked back inside the room.

Many of the established crew stared in shock. Kane never asked for help. Never. They all looked at Savel and Wells and then back to the office in utter disbelief.
