She was only mildly embarrassed by her messiness these days, mostly because she was sure there was some rule that XO’s should be more organized than that. But she had been honest with Kane when she said that everything else in her life had always been so highly controlled, disciplined, that her quarters became the one space where she didn’t have to be. Now that she had a romantic partner in her life though, she had been trying to at least contain the mess at least a little bit.
