Not every ship’s Captain was the same, but many liked meeting the new crew after they’d settled in. The Ogawa was no exception. Tyler had found a note on a PaDD waiting in his quarters upon arrival, inviting him to the Captain’s ready room for a chat.

Finding himself having some free time, and having checked with the Computer that the Captain was indeed in the ready room, Tyler made his way to Deck 1. He approached the office door and rang the chime, already feeling quite good about the atmosphere on board, he found himself looking forward to meeting Captain Taylor.

“Come in!” A voice from inside called and when the door opened the red haired woman in command colours smiled welcomingly “lieutenant Wells I presume.”

Tyler entered, flashing a smile.

“That would be me!” He said. “Lieutenant Tyler Wells. It’s an honor to be here, Captain.” He wasn’t sure if he should offer a hand for a handshake or just stand at attention, so he went with the latter.
