Tressex had compiled the climatological and geological data of the colony that he and T’Pris had gone over. He looked across the table at his Vulcan associate and said “T’Pris. I am going to go brief the CSO on our findings. If you want to join me, I wouldn’t mind.” It didn’t take a mind reader to see that Tressex was a bit scared of the CSO, and he was skittish to begin with.

Tressex picked up the PaDD with his data and walked over to the office door. Taking a deep breath, he pressed the chime.

Before Tressex was admitted to the CSO’s office, T’Pris strode up quickly holding her own padd. “Sorry, Ensign. Upon studying the data closer, I may have been mistaken but I thought we should still let the CSO review our findings.” She said as she stopped beside him.

OOC: According to Linds, the ground isn’t as unstable as it first seems about reading where its at but this is still a good chance to rp it all out:)

“Yes, thank you. I caught that, too. We should probably still make sure the elevation difference, no matter how slight, is taken into account. Three degrees downward slope and the rain that is going to come in would cause flooding of all lower structures. At least the substrata is solid. No chance of hydrostatic compromise.”

“Hmm, they may not need to move actually. But more accurate readings can be taken once we are on planet.” T’Pris murmured.

T’Pris Psychobiologist

“I believe that to be accurate. But we will need to have Engineering go over their structural supports and foundations to make sure they have accounted for drainage and runoff. From the climatological models, they can expect precipitation to exceed 2,500 millimeters. The last thing we need is for the foundations to become undermined by running water.” and he scowled and pressed the chime again.

Najma was not in her office, but she was her way there. As she approached she saw the two officers standing there. She walked up behind them and said “What’s up?” As she eyed the PADDs in each of their hands.

Tressex jumped slightly at the question, and turned and said “Ma’am, we have compiled a briefing on the colony’s climate and geological situation. Before we send any of the Science team down, we thought you would want to know what we have.”

T’Pris turned as well to study the CSO. She hadn’t met the woman yet and studied her with interest, wondering what she was like. She seemed to be a fairly relaxed officer given her greeting.
