Oliver found his way down to the Primary Medical area. It had taken him some time to decide where exactly he should report for a boarding physical on a medical cruiser but this seemed to be the best place to start. He stepped into the reception area and surveyed the scene. This was nothing like the little ship he had been on for his cadet cruise where they had a sleepy little sickbay with a doctor or two and a few nurses to help the handful of cadets doing dumb things to injure themselves. It was definitely going to take some getting used to the primary mission of this ship but it was bound to be an experience.

He made his way to what he hoped was a check-in desk and waited for someone to greet him.

A nurse greeted him with a smile. “Hello, how are you? What did you need today?” She asked, picking up a PaDD.

Ollie returned the smile politely, “I’m Ensign Oliver Ezeami, I’ve just come aboard and I was hoping to complete my medical evaluation for boarding today if someone is available?”

About ten minutes later, they were leading him back to a biobed. A Vulcan doctor was headed towards them, a tall and lanky man with glossy black hair. When he reached the biobed with a PaDD in hand, “I’m Doctor Solal, I hear you’re needing a boarding medical eval?” He asked.

Ollie stood to greet the doctor, “Yes sir, I’m Ensign Ezeami assigned to security. The medical eval is next on my checklist.”

He smiled politely and stood at ease next to the biobed waiting for instructions from the doctor. Normally, he felt like he could let his mental guard down a little more around most Vulcans since they tended to keep their emotions in check better than the other species he was used to being around. He figured being relaxed would make things go a little more smoothly, though he didn’t feel particularly concerned about the outcome of a medical exam in the first place.
