Savel has recently arrived on board the ship and had to make his reporting-in to his superior. Wandering through the corridors, he actively thought about the ship, and its function as a medical ship, which was an honorable function in Savel’s opinion, and about his 2 deck shuttle bay which he came to see right after he finished unpacking his luggage.
It was his little tradition to go see the shuttle when coming onboard a new ship, as he know he’ll have to fly those one day. In fact, he guessed his Squadron Pilot title was one of the crucial functions that pushed Starfleet to put him on the Ogawa. Not like I would complain about it, thought the Vulcan. Their crafts seem quite recent, especially those Longevity-Class, and are well maintained. It would be a… pleasure to fly one of these. Savel was still not fully comfortable with his control over his emotions when he flies. He cannot accept letting it go, yet he cherishes each of those moments piloting. He just hopes he can contain himself on duty.

Arriving in front of the CSO’s office, he approached the door and activated the chime.
