Into the psychiatry waiting area walked the skeletal figure of Joe. His grinning skull seemed drooped under his shadowy cowl. He walked to the reception desk and keyed his name into the sign in PaDD which would alert both officers of his presence. Boney fingers tap tapping loudly.

He sat down and waited. After a few.moments he picked up a.PaDD of Knitting monthly and scrolled.

Doctor Mariah Grayson sat at her desk typing some notes when she was alerted someone had signed in to see a clinician on a walk-in basis. Grateful for the opportunity for a break and eager to get to know the crew in her new role, Grayson minimized what she was working on and switched over to the schedule for the day, inputting her own credentials to indicate she would see the person requesting to see someone for mental health services. In this case, it was Doctor Black, one of the ship’s dentists.

Curious, Mariah stood up from her desk and made her way out into the waiting area, spotting its lone occupant. “Doctor Black, I presume?”
