The next patient stood, well hobbled, towards Khev with a pained smile and followed her smoothly before settling in. When he hopped on the table it was clear, the leg was twisted inward 45 degrees and must have been painful to walk on. “Hi,” he said cheerfully enough, all things considered.

Drake looked the patient over. “I guess there’s no reason to ask what‘s troubling you. Can I get your name nod how the hell this happened for the record please?” He asked.

“It was caught in an explosion,” the man described as he leaned back. “Got caught in some wreckage and then twisted. The medics tried to fix it but you know how these things are. Never quite as strong and without proper care prone to break again.” He looked around then and nodded. “So are you going to be able to fix it or are you just going to give me more pain meds.”

“Don’t worry, I’ll get you fixed up.” Drake said. “Just lie back and we’ll put you under.” He did his best to be reassuring, though after his previous patient he was just hoping for the minimum of complications.

The man laid back and closed his eyes, letting the sedative take a hold of him. This patient was more straight forward than the other patient and easy enough to operate on. Once the foot was snapped back and the bone regrown it was good as new. All that would have to happen now is monitor the patient as he woke back up and got ready to move on.
