As the surgery finished Willow stood watching her unconcious brother be taken from the OR. Apparently she had been watching from the observation area. She glanced at him saw his chest rise and fall then immediatly went to Drake.

“What happened?” She asked trying not to make it sound like an order.

Drake looked the woman talking to him up and down once to identify her. “Ah. Captain. Your brother, as he told me, fell down a ladder, the distance of roughly 1 deck. He shattered his elbow, and broke both bones of the forearm. He was a… less than keen patient. But everything went as planned. He should be coming out of anaesthetic anytime now.”

Willow nodded. The sound of pent up worry escaping in one woosh of air. She kept her as.folded holding her elbows.

“My brother ia not a fan of Doctors. He spent a number of years seeing specialists and often reacts funny to sedatives and pain medication.which makes him.unwilling a patient as you put it. Was there any trauma to his abdomen or ribs? He also has isolated dextrocardia. I need to be sure he has no other injuries.”

Adrian Sorel sat quietly by Cai’s bedside and wondered if he should stay or go as he glanced at the Captain nervously. His lip was caught between his teeth as he chewed on it.

Cai groaned slightly and turned slightly. He was pale and his blood.preasure slightly high.

Willow and Cai

Adrian Sorel immediately turned at the quiet sound and asked worriedly,”Cai? Hey Cai, its Adrian Sorel. It’s okay, the surgery is over and the Captain is here.” He said to his friend.

Drake turned back to glance at Cai, then looked back at the Captain. “He had a decent size cut on his forehead when he dragged himself in. That and the arm were the only injuries that showed. He’s shown high heart rate and BP since he came in. That’s my next stop. Since he still has high blood pressure, let’s find out if his heart and lungs are fine. It’s all one scan.” He walked a few steps away. “Nurse Austen. Let’s get a full scan of Young Master Taylor’s chest. Try to get it while he’s still groggy and won’t put up too much of a fight.”
