PaDD in hand, Alexis scanned the list of emergency response teams and those assigned. “I’ll get right on this. If something that major happens we’ll need those kits to be stocked and ready.” Alexis was so eager to get back to work, she didn’t even wait to be dismissed. Once out of his office, “GALEN inform all emergency medical response team members to meet me on Deck 14 in one hour.” The triage deck was also their main storage facility for all things medical. They could pick up extra supplies there and then work their way up through the decks. “Message Sent Dr Bonner,” GALEN confirmed. Then she made her way down to Deck 12 and secondary sickbay to check in. She wouldn’t be in sickbay most of the day so she wanted them to know where she would be. After reviewing a couple of cases, Alexis took the lift down two decks and started pulling out extras for the emergency medical kits stored around the ship.

OOC: This is the exact role my character was made for! I’m in! I’ll start a Deck 14 thread and clip in part of this post as a start.

IC: Thoon was seated at the desk in his quarters, several slim PaDDs strewn about its surface. The desktop viewscreen showed a medical text open to a section on the effect of dermal regenerators on phaser burns in several Federation species and best practices for application in an active fire situation. With a few gestures he transferred a block of text to the PaDD to his right. He was studying again. As he seemed to spend most of his free time for the last 8 months. This time it was for his own class. He would begin teaching combat lifesaving to security crew in just a few more days and he wanted to make sure his first class went smoothly. His combadge chimed, breaking his concentration. =^=All emergency response team members report to Lieutenant Bonner on Deck 14 in 1 hour.=^= GALEN’s voice announced. Thoon tapped his badge. =^=Acknowledged. Thanks, Galen.=^= He tapped a command key on his desktop and the display went dark. He stood up and stretched, grateful for a break. “Perfect timing.” He muttered to himself. He’d have just enough time to take his jog, shower, and get to Deck 14.

{1 hour later}

Thoon stepped off of the turbolift on Deck 14 and jogged the short way to the main triage center. As he approached the door he tugged down his tunic and slowed to a walk. He walked through the doorway and approached the small group of officers beginning to gather a short distance in. “Lt. Furood, reporting in.”
