It didn’t matter how often she walked the halls of this new ship, Willow found herself smiling. It was a strange sensation to be in charge of a starship normally but to be in charge of a brand new ship was something different entirely. She was still finding random things about her office, the corridors, her chair in the command Center.

Yet with the excitement of a new ship came the adjustment periods of a crew who were used to one another and one ship feeling a little disoriented and new crew who had to get used to both the environment and the people. So far it had caused a little administrative headache.

Come lunch time, with her conversation with Walker in the back of her mind she decided to abandon her office and head to him for lunch. Carrying two small boxes and a flask with her she nodded her head to those crew members she recognised as she navigated deck 5. Reaching Walker’s office within the primary medical suite she pressed the chime and waited.
