04:00 hours was not a time to do much more than ponder if there was time to snooze for another while before duty shift beckoned or if not drink coffee and wrestle a hairbrush through the bed head hair look. It was unlike Willow to be awake and alert when she didn’t have a duty shift to take. Instead she was jogging through the corridors of the ship. It might have something to do with the fact that she had been up late working and eventually when she had gone to bed, hadn’t been able to sleep.

Granted, she could have gone to the gym but somehow, this impromptu tour of the vessel was almost more welcome.

She slowed slightly as she approached a pair of NEs in Yellow garb. “As you were ensigns.” She said cheerily, if not slightly breathlessly, as she passed them both. She was somewhere on deck 7? Maybe 8? It was a distance from her quarters and the command Center at least.
