With a smile Willow said “Sounds like a plan. We can get you set up with some space and you can draft a proposal and a demo. Sound good?”

“Sounds better than what I’ve heard the past couple’a years, thats for sure.” and he stood up and walked to the door, stopping just before he activated it. Turning, he looked at the two women and said “I know I’m a wrench in the gears. But just remember that this was never my idea. I didn’t ask for this… but I’ll try to make it work and not be too much of a pain in the a$$.” and he turned and walked out the door.

Dira watched him walk out and shifted her attention to Willow. “He thinks he’s an unexpected trouble. Maybe we should have told him to brush up on the Ogawa’s mission logs,” she said with a smirk.

“Hmm.” Willow said. “At least if experience has taught me anything wrench’s often come in useful once they get pulled out of whatever gears they think they are stuck in.” She shrugged. “He didn’t ask for us, we didn’t ask for him. Hopefully we will be able to meet in the middle.”

She just nodded. What else was there to say really? “Well, onwards we go,” she said, pushing her chair back. “At least I feel like we have a basic understanding. It’ll go far. But let’s not be complacent either. Disgruntled people can go different ways but sure as heck there can be rouble behind them. I’d rather expect it and be dlightfully proven wrong later.”

Willow nodded, “I hope so.” She pushed herself to her feet and creeping over to the door seemed to be hiding behind it. “Can you check if Ensign Charlie is gone before I leave and head back to the bridge?” She asked Dira. Only half kidding.

Assured that her pale skinned HR shadow was indeed gone Willow exited the room and made for the bridge
