“Top to bottom?” Kyle asked with a grin, “I’ve yet to come across the Bridge?”

-Lieutenant Kyle Anders: Security Officer-

She flashed the security officer a slightly weary grin. “Of course. Who am I to deny a young officer their first glimpse of the bridge on their new posting? But I warn you Anders, my setting foot on the bridge after I’ve left it makes people think I’m available, so your orders are to protect me. Distract and evade, got it?” she said with a gleam in her ebony eyes.

Commander Myqian, XO

“I serve at the pleasure of the XO,” Kyle replied with a wink, gesturing for her to go ahead of him, while he trotted behind like some sort of over excited Labrador.

-Lieutenant Kyle Anders: Security Officer-

Ahhhh kids! She tossed the security officer another grin and headed for the turbolift to take them upwards. Entering when it reached their deck, Myqian gave Anders an appraising look. “So, what do you think of the ship so far, Lieutenant?” Everyone had their own take on duty on a medical ship that was dictated in part by their previous experiences, their current role and their expectations. She was curious what angle he was coming at the Ogawa from.

Commander Myqian, XO

“Well ma’am, considering my brief stint as Chief of Security on the Challenger during my training cruise, I’m looking forward to getting my hands dirty again rather than providing reports to the Captain, though she was a fine commanding officer. I do however, understand that a medical ship may not always provide the same level of high stakes Security missions that, say, a ship like the Atlantis may offer.” Kyle had never been so formal in a conversation before so decided to lighten the mood, “I can’t promise I won’t start doing parkour all over the ship though, those acrobatics skills have got to come from somewhere.” He winked.
