“It’s even better than my old office at Medical,” Brad said, turning to face Willow. “Hell, I could hold an entire differential in here with a team of claustrophobics and not have any of them freak out.”

Willow laughed. “It’s pretty cool I have to admit.” She said entering and walking around a moment. “Have you seen your briefing room yet?” She asked.

“I think it was on the tour, yeah,” Brad replied. “That’s not to say I remember it, I mean, it’s a briefing room. I was probably still processing everything in one of the other wards while I walked through on autopilot.”

Willow laughed, “well try not to get lost. If I have to send someone looking for you I’ll never let you live it down you know.” She surveyed the office a moment and said off handedly. “While I’m here do you think you’d be able to sign off my boarding exam…” she gave Brad a dazzling smile.

He gave a short laugh. “Of course, Captain has to set a good example right?” he asked with a return grin. “C’mon, let’s make sure the yard installed these damn biobeds right, and without any gremlins.”

Willow looked sheepish. “Well actually…I was kinda hoping you’d just…” she held the PaDD out. “Sign for me and sort of say we did the exam but…not?” She smiled again.

“Nothing doing,” Brad said. “I have to at least poke you twice and prod you once before I can sign off on a visual exam,” he grinned. “Get over here.”

Willow rolled her whole head. “Ugh…” she said but did move over to where he was and towards the nearest biobed. She pulled herself up onto it and pulled a face. “I hate being poked and prodded.” She said and stuck a tongue out at him.

“Nothing out of the ordinary I need to know about?” Brad asked, keying the biobed to simply check her vitals.

“Nothing not in the file” she said. Turning to look at the new panels she raised her eyebrows. “Oooh sensitive” she said causing the readouts to shift slightly with her movements.

“Sleep is uninterrupted and for at least six hours a night?”

“Yeeessss....?” She said making a slight face. The answer was no. Definitely a no, the readouts would confirm that.
