The whispered words in his ear nearly brought Achilleas to losing his reason again. A woman you love saying such sexy things would likely drive any man to feel that way, but luckily he didn’t go against his resolve to do what was right. He did reposition his lower half to ease the discomfort he was feeling there though. He didn’t exactly mind that Ria didn’t move away, as the proximity and hot water was delightful. “You’re not going to put all of your dress back on are you? I’m telling you right now that once we get to your quarters everything is coming off in under five minutes one way or the other.” He smiled as he half-joked about that.

Ria was silent for a moment, her chin resting on his shoulder. “Actually, I am. It’s pretty much all or nothing with that outfit and I’m sorry, but I’m not walking down the corridor in a bathing suit,” she said apologetically before adding pushing slightly backwards so that she could look into Achilleas eyes. An impish smile playing across her face as she continued, “And don’t forget, the nice thing about that outfit and the undergarments is that getting undressed isn’t necessary at all.” She winked and gave him a quick peck on his lips before finally slipping off his legs and rose to her feet. And while she loved feeling his hands on her skin, part of her hoped that he might like the idea of her keeping her dress and all on. Among other things, it might keep her from worrying over the weight she had lost. And that would be definitely beneficial in many regards.

Achilleas raised his eyebrows in delight. “I had forgotten about that convenience. I was going to offer you my pants and shirt while I went back in my swim trunks, but that works too.” He likewise got out of the hot tub and walked with her back to the dressing rooms. He pulled her in for a quick kiss before parting with a wave. “I’ll see you in a few then my love.”

Returning his kiss, Ria whispered, “Feel free to head already to my quarters. It’ll take me a bit to get dry and change.”

Slipping into the changing room, Ria did her best to get dressed as quickly as possible. But with towelling herself and all it took even longer than getting undressed. In a way that was a good thing as it gave her some time to collect herself and cool down a little before stepping out into the corridor and potentially running into other people. But it was a good 20, 25 minutes before she was finally ready. Stepping out of the changing room, she looked around to see if Achilleas was still there or had followed her advice and already went to her quarters.

Achilleas had not stayed after drying and changing clothes. Instead he had gone to Ria’s quarters and leaned himself against the wall next to her door. This was the first time visiting her quarters and he didn’t want to intrude without her, though he thought she would’ve been fine with it had he done so. Either way he wanted to respect her space and he thought it was likely he wasn’t keyed in for access yet, though he wasn’t sure. He waved at any of the passing crew that he knew with a smile.

With Achilleas gone, Ria headed as quickly as possible towards her quarters without actually running. After all, with her track record she would probably trip over the hem of her skirt and fall. And that would make neither Achilleas nor Dr. Walker happy.

When she rounded the last corner she was surprised to find Achilleas leaning against the wall. Running the last several metres after all, she kind of tripped over her own feet and stumbled forward, either against Achilleas or into his arms depending on his position and all.

Achilleas turned as Ria came stumbling up to him and caught her in his arms. He grinned at her being energetic and quite clearly excited to see him even though it had only about a half hour.

“Why didn’t you go inside?” Ria asked and kissed him on the cheek before leading him into her quarters. They were small and looked very much like standard crew quarters. Most of her things were still in the two boxes standing open in one corner of her room. But a picture of her family in front of their house on Bajor stood prominently on her desk already. There were also several candles on various surfaces throughout the room. A blood red meditation pillow was sitting next to the small couch that had a cozy looking teal coloured blanket draped over one armrest. The standard sheets and bedding had been changed for a fluffy duvet and with teal coloured sheets that had small white flowers printed on them.

“I haven’t been able to finish unpacking yet,” Ria said a little sheepishly as she looked around her small room, wondering what Achilleas might think of it.

“Neither have I.” Achilleas chuckles as he looked around. “I really like the coziness of your quarters. Definitely better now that you’re not sharing them with someone. I like the color scheme too, the teal looks great.” He walked up to Ria’s back and wrapped his arms around her. He brought his lips to her ear and whispered with a husky voice. “Is the bed as soft and comfortable as it looks?”

A soft shiver ran down her back and Ria leaned fully against Achilleas. “Yes, it is,” she whispered back; her eyes closed and her heart already beating faster in anticipation and excitement. Twisting around in his embrace, she wrapped her arms once more around his neck and kissed him as deeply and passionately as she had done before in the hot tub.

With them being in a private place now all sense of holding back and being responsible flew right out the view port. Achilleas’ shirt was unbuttoned and tossed aside in mere second as he returned Ria’s passionate kiss. Keeping an eye over her shoulder, he slowly walked them closer to her bed before the back of her legs lightly hit against it.

The moment her legs hit the bed, Ria broke their kiss and hoisted herself swiftly onto the edge. Placing her hands on his hips, she then pulled Achilleas towards her. Her eyes locked with his, she reached for the button on his pants and started to open it…

Later that day (or was it that night?), Ria nestled herself closer to Achilleas as she started to drift off to sleep in his arms. This was another things she had missed: Falling asleep in his arms.
