In a way Achilleas could tell that he was unsuccessful in consoling Ria but he didn’t know where he had gone wrong. It was more like she was consoling him with a kiss on the cheek and thanking him. But thanking him for what? He wasn’t sure. He didn’t want to go down a spiral of self-blame for either of them though, so he smiled as best he could and whispered back, “You’re welcome.” He was sitting there and holding a beautiful woman as he second guessed his words and actions, all thought of the food in front of them gone from his mind.

Looking up at Achilleas, Ria had a feeling that he was worried, maybe even second guessing himself. So much for trying not to make him worry… She didn’t want this date to be overshadowed by any gloomy feelings and misunderstandings and while it might be better if they both actually said what they were thinking and feeling, she didn’t want to talk. Or rather, was worried that it might not make things better right now. So instead she tilted her head a little and whispered, “You are a wonderful man, you know that, right?” Before he could answer though, she had placed one hand on the back of his head and the other on his hip and kissed him deeply.

Saying that Achilleas was surprised by Ria’s question and the deep kiss immediately following it, would definitely be an understatement. It was a surprise he welcomed though as it brought his attention to this moment. His concerns seemed to evaporate for the time being as he lost himself in their kiss. Feeling a different type of hunger awakening inside of him, he leaned back and pulled Ria onto his chest with her laying on top of him.

The smile on her face widened as she let Achilleas pull her on to his chest as he laid down. She bit his lower lip playfully and then kissed him more deeply. Even though she knew that they shouldn’t do more than kissing, Ria enjoyed teasing Achilleas. Not to mention that building the anticipation for what would surely happen later was a lot of fun. And it helped her to push any dark thoughts and feelings towards the very back of her mind.

A muffled moan or gasp, hard to tell which, tried to come out of Achilleas mouth that was firmly sealed with Ria’s. His sense of reason almost left him after her playful love bite, but fortunately he didn’t completely release his self control. He imagined that when the Captain said to explore and use the new ship’s facilities that she in no way meant what came into his thoughts. Not to be completely teased one-sidedly however he rolled them over, though away from the food and wine glasses, and positioned himself on top of her. Now she was at his mercy and the teasing was truly about to begin.

Ria squealed softly and then giggled as Achilleas rolled them over and pinned her down beneath him. For a moment she broke their kiss by pushing Achilleas gently away. Yet the sparkle in her eyes and the smile on her face were hopefully indication enough that she didn’t mean to actually push him a way. She just wanted to look him in the eyes for a moment and cool down a tiny bit. They were in a very public space after all.

Achilleas grinned at Ria as there was mischief in his eyes. ‘Oh how to tease her?’ Was the thought on his mind. He leaned his head into the crook of her neck and lightly bit her neck. He followed up with a gentle kiss to her neck before he moved back above her. “Two can play this game.” He said while still grinning. “But who do you think will win?” He asked but didn’t give her the time to answer as he swiftly leaned in for another deep kiss.

A soft sigh escaped Ria’s lips and her eyes fluttered close as she automatically turned her head a little to the side at the tough of his lips on her neck. She had been just about to answer his question when Achilleas kissed her again and for a moment she forgot everything around them. But eventually she broke the kiss and whispered, “We shouldn’t. Not here. What if?” She sounded a little breathless and her cheeks were flushed. Trying to wiggle out from underneath Achilleas she continued, “To answer. Your question: We both win. Or we both lose. It all depends.”
