Making a beeline from her quarters after the great milk muddle, Willow found herself in search of someone to talk to. someone who she could confide in and explain the mess and who oiled be awake and off duty at 730am. She pressed the chime and bit her lip hoping it wasn’t too early.Willow Taylor
COLuckily for Taylor, the Reez household knew nothing of the thing called sleeping in. The twins had bene up since 0600 and Mel had squeezed in a workout and a shower before Jon needed to get ready for work. Which he was doing now while she dressed Julia.
Moving to the door, Mel left her daughter half dressed and carried the soft shirt in her hand. Seeing it was Willow, she smiled. “Good morning, Willow. This is a pleasant surprise.”

Willow smiled back and sighed slightly. “ I’m sorry for disturbing you so early. I just had a replicator disaster involving Cai, engineering and a tidal wave of milk.” She looked sheepish. “Got time for a coffee?” She asked.

Off duty“Oh, dear,” Mel said with a empathetic smile. “Of course, come on in,” she said gesturing for Willow to enter. Jon, the Captain is here to see me. Fair warning. She felt she should at least let him know so he wasn’t entirely surprised when he came out.
Their quarters were much the same with the natural chaos twins brought. But the touches from the couple themselves were there too. Disolayed on shelves out of reach of small fingers were a rare set of Betazoid crystals and a rare book on Cross Cultural Sociology by the late Professor Grren Grey. Beside them were a set of earplugs and a bottle of pills labelled In case husband talks too much. More oddly were the cast iron frying pan with a comfort handle, and a lava lamp.
But most prominently was a Betazoid dinner chime suspended from a finely polished alloy frame with a well formed striker nestled in beside it. Closer inspection would reveal that a plaque on the base read U.S.S. Endeavour NCC-76801. The chime’s disk was smooth and clear in the centre, with several small embedded cracks radiating outward in all directions. More small cracks joined these, giving the disk a frosted look as you followed them toward the edge. The edges themselves were brown, and in some places almost black. Numerous pits and scars could be seen when viewing the disk from the edge, clearly showing where high-energy reactions had occurred. The edges however were polished, and although you could clearly feel the imperfections the edge remained smooth to the touch. Taylor would probably instantly recognized it as a used dilithium crystal.

“Captain? Whatever you heard I didn’t do it.” Jonathan said with a smirk as he came from the back. He wasn’t quite expecting to see her but he was pleasantly surprised all the same. “Can we help with something?”

Willow stood admiring the personal touches to the couples quarters and turned smiling somewhat sheepishly as Jonathan came into the main space. “I’m very sorry to disturb you so early. I was hoping I could steal your wife for a coffee and an embarrassing tale of teenagers and mad milk meltdowns.”
Willow Taylor
Off duty“Well by all means, just be sure she comes in more or less the same condition, or you owe me a new wife.” Jon said with a smirk and wink.
Reez, CoP
Willow smiled, “I swear to you you’ll have her back in perfect condition. Perhaps slightly more caffeinated but I guarantee with an amazingly embarrassing blackmail worthy story.”
