After finishing her lunch and conversation with the COS Alexis wandered off, still reading the PaDD she carried. The research on DNA and memory was…interesting, but not very developed. She wondered if that was because, as Ever had told her, some of it was top secret? Or was the research just shoddy? It was hard to tell from the published papers. But there must be some merit, the publications were some of the most respected. She finished her shift in sickbay and then began to wander about the station, stretching her legs and reading the PaDDs again. She actually sat down in a deep window sill and, pulling her feet up under her, began to pour over not just the articles, but the reviews of the research as well. That led to looking at the researchers other works and those associated with them, and before long, Alexis was down a rabbit hole of preliminary research. It was so typical of her, that someone who actually liked her, might call it endearing, but there was no one like that. Just colleagues that saw her over active mind, hungry for more information.
