Achilleas nodded while he reached for and received Ria’s hand. “I think that’s a wonderful idea. A happy middle ground to see if we’d enjoy it but not pressure you into making an important decision like that now.” He looked up and met her look with a silly grin, “I’m probably going to say and do stupid things from time to time. Are you sure you want to be with me while knowing that?”

“Yes, I do,” Ria said tenderly, yet with conviction. “I probably will as well and I know that I’m not always an easy person to be around. If it ever gets too much, you can tell me. I’ll understand.” She then placed her other hand on his cheek and once again leaned forward and kissed Achilleas gently on the lips.

“I’ve not had any doubts about my wanting to be with you. I’ll tell you if that changes, and I want you to do the same, but right now I will just trust that you will accept all of me as I accept all of you. The good will come with the bad, but I’m better with you in my life and I wouldn’t change that for anything.” Achilleas returned the gentle kiss with equal tenderness. He also lightly drug his fingertips down the back of her neck.
