Achilleas just watched as Ria got rid of a couple of obstructing layers. He reached for her hands and stopped her from unbuttoning any more for the moment. He brought her hands to his chest and placed them where his heart was. “Close your eyes for a moment and just feel my heartbeat.” He whispered. His heart was thumping powerfully and somewhat quickly in his chest. “You have my heart beating so fast right now. Your beauty and loveliness, practically everything about you, excites me.” He released her hands to reach out and slowly continue the unbuttoning process of her corset cover.

“You have my heart beating just as fast,” Ria whispered. “I love you Achilleas.” Even after he had let go off her hands again and had continued unbuttoning her corset cover, Ria left her hands on Achilleas’s chest where he had placed them. And only when she leaned slightly forward to kiss him softly on the lips did she open her eyes. At least for a short moment so that she wouldn’t miss his lips. With only three buttons and a small ribbon, it wouldn’t take long till the corset cover was open as well and revealed the corset and part of the pair of combinations underneath. While most of her body was still covered in clothes, she was getting to a point of being undressed, she hadn’t been in the presence of another person for a while and even then it was only with one man before him. It made her feel vulnerable and a little bashful, but not exactly in a bad way. She trusted him and that he wouldn’t hurt her on purpose. So with her cheeks rather pink, she smiled shyly up at him.

His breath caught and his hands trembled. He was shocked, surprised, and stunned that she had said that she loved him. His own feelings had been suppressed until they could find out if they could be together or not. Achilleas liked her a lot and intensely desired to be together with her, but he couldn’t afford to take that next step in his feelings before now. When she kissed him, he began to shed tears of happiness. Seeing her smile up at him after the kiss, he pulled her back into a hug and whispered fiercely, “I love you too Riani.”

The smile on her face widened as she wrapped her arms around his neck and held him close. “I’m so glad we’ve met and that we’re allowed to be together,” she whispered and for a while she just sat there with her chin resting on his shoulder while they held each other. Eventually she shifted her position ever so slightly and first kissed his left cheek and then his lips, the saltiness of his tears lingering on her lips. It was another tender kiss. And while part of her wanted to do more than kissing and holding each other, the much larger part of her was content with the speed at which they were moving and didn’t mind at all that they had slowed down a little. On the contrary, to her this was a very tender, sweet and happy moment and she wanted to enjoy every second of it and not rush through anything as if there was a goal to be reached.

Achilleas likewise stayed in the embrace comfortable and content. His passion and excitement seemed to transition into a full feeling of love. He still desired Ria in a way that seemed to ache from within him, but he had settled into just being happy. He breathed in her scent for a moment longer before he lightly kissed her neck. It didn’t have the same passion as before but it was far more tender and lingering. Every kiss was delicately placed and probably a bit more ticklish in feel than his previous kisses. “Ria, I’m also glad that we’ve met and been allowed to be together. I couldn’t even imagine you not being in my life anymore. I don’t know if this is too soon to ask or not, but would you move in with me?”

Ria looked rather startled and was quite speechless for a while as she had definitely not expected that at all. She didn’t feel ready for that step yet, but she also didn’t want to hurt Achilleas’s feelings. Her mind started to spin and she couldn’t seem to find the words to say anything at all. After what felt like an eternity to her, eventually she sort of found her voice again and mumbled, “I … I don’t know Achilleas. I … I would like to … one day … it’s … it feels … too soon … I’m really, really so-sorry.” Her voice broke at the end and she dropped her gaze to her lap. Without meaning to, she’d even let go of Achilleas and was instead fidgeting nervously with the pant legs of her pair of combinations.

“Oh no, no no no. Look I… I was being stupid. I knew it was too soon to ask. I just got carried away thinking about how I’d like to always be with you. To see you when I first wake up and to kiss you goodnight when you go to bed. I just jumped too far ahead, not thinking that we just started actually dating. I’m the one who is sorry Ria. Don’t be sorry. Your reaction is normal.” Achilleas said and sighed. He looked down at his own hands and thought about how stupid that was of him to say.

Lifting her gaze ever so slightly, Ria reached tentatively for Achilleas’s hand and said softly, “It’s okay.” And she meant it. Yes, she still felt a little stunned and surprised, but she wasn’t upset. While trying to catch his eyes, she continued, “I like the idea of falling asleep together and waking up next to each other as well. And we can do that. I can stay here from time to time and we’ll see how things continue. How does that sound?”

Achilleas nodded while he reached for and received Ria’s hand. “I think that’s a wonderful idea. A happy middle ground to see if we’d enjoy it but not pressure you into making an important decision like that now.” He looked up and met her look with a silly grin, “I’m probably going to say and do stupid things from time to time. Are you sure you want to be with me while knowing that?”
