OOC: This is after the main briefing and just just before the first away mission.

Captain made a good point in the meeting about her learning more about the systems on board the Leviathan. She wasn’t surprised, it’s probably why he was the man in charge.
But indeed, this ship was much different then USS Chernov or even Starbase 227. Both now seemed like some dull freighter ship, compared to all the activities going on here.

The short interaction with the anomaly Gen worried her also. It appeared harmless, and even if it was, there are bound to come others, less friendly. It was her job, to keep the ship safe, and she had to know what could go wrong, so she could prepare.

The one who would probably know the most about the ship, would be Lt. Hampton, the CE.

The ship’s computer located him in engineering, so she made her way there.

“Lieutenant Hampton, if I can have a moment of your time. I’d like to learn a bit more about the security measures surrounding the containment units on this ship. More specifically the ones on Level 13, where the most dangerous anomalies are supposed to be kept. If anything happens I’d like the security to have contingency plans at least.”

The ship was finally not two seconds away from flying apart at all times. Leviathan’s chief engineer was pleased with his work, and was sitting at an engineering console facing the warp core. His head was leaned up on his hands which were propped on the console. His momentary period of resting was interrupted by a voice calling his name. It sounded vaguely familiar and Hampton associated with the recent briefing, fantastic, another RTF agent with some meaningless task. He swiveled around towards the person. When his eyes landed on Stone he immediately sat up in his chair and his uninterested posture changed to one of interest. His expression also changed from one of annoyance to one of appreciation. “Oh thank goodness, another starfleet officer.” He said, his tone lighter than normal. “For a second I thought you were about to be one of those insufferable RTF agents who have no restraints and unlimited authority it seems.” He commented, being passive aggressive with no subtle. He gave a slight smile to the Chief of Security. “I would be more than happy to accommodate you chief. ”

He stood up and walked over the a display screen across the room. He pulled up a schematic of deck 13. “I believe everything you need to know is in this file here.” He leaned back against a bulkhead, allowing Stone to inspect the specs. He smirked, it was time to show off. “As for contingency plans, you don’t need to worry chief. I have at least three.” He held up his hand, extending his index finger. “One, I have put deck 13 on the secondary power grid, if the ship loses primary power, those containment fields will stay intact.” He extended a second finger. “Two, have an alarm system that triggers if the containment fields are taken down without being deactivated using a specific code. If somehow an anomaly manages to break through, they will be immediately be detected.” He held up a third finger. “Three, I am working on installing a secondary security field that will be activated in the event of an escape. It will be activated in between the bulkheads and around the door way.” He held a fourth finger. “I have a fouth plan but I have no approval for it at the moment.” He leaned back and allowed the COS to intake the information he had given her.
