Disappointed that he couldn’t trade a few more good natured barbs with the Klingon, Bog policed his kit, and fell into step. “Ay Sir” eyeing the state of the ship, he wondered what the engineering department was doing exactly. “She seams a bit rough, Skipper.” He said absently.

Zachariah’s determined steps ground to an immediate halt and he spun to once more face the Ensign.
“Rough?” he roared, “She is a finer ship than the engineering crew let loose on her deserves, it seems. Now she might have one or two minor defects here and there, but that’s now your job to fix, Mr Bog. So if hear again someone calling my ship rough, then I shall take it as a signal that a certain engineer hasn’t been doing their bloody job! Do I make myself clear?”

And with that he began to once again march along the corridor, signalling for Tellek to continue following, but this time slowing his speed not one drop for the little man’s legs.

Bogs smile grew to a grin, “Perfectly sir” perhaps their was hope, the Captain seemed to be a civilized man.

Due to the lengthens stride of his ‘back kneed’ legs Bog matched the skipper’s pace.

“So then,” Cobb continued to quiz the new arrival as they walked, “What brings you to an ARU vessel, then? You have much past experience with anomalies?”

Were Bog to hold his tongue for just a second longer, he might have caught the captain add under his breath “present company excepted, of course”.
