Well perhaps not exactly worth it, but what was done was done, if he moved with a purpose he would reach the big just about the time the orders came in to detain him.

Picking up his kit from where he had left it he headed for the turbo lift. Not in a rush, he didn’t want to creat any more problems for the Lieutenant, one Teller Bog was quite enough.

Bog

Ridding the Turbo lift to the detention level Bog had a few moments to consider his probably short future.

When the doors slid open he began looking for the person in charge.

Bog

The Brig office looked up from his station a little confused and caught if guard from catching up in the latest sports news from around the federation, “Can I help you sir? You look lost.” The security Petty office identified the man as a Tellarite and he was deffinetly not security, Mathew’s would have recognised him. That left engineering or operations. “Sir?” He said again when it seemed he wasn’t going to answer.

  • NE Mathew’s

“In just a few moments I expect security to receive orders to detain one Teller Bog, Tellarite Ensin detailed to the Engineering department for gross insubordination.” Bog waited for the petty officer to make the connection.

Bog

Mathew’s eyed the Teller and let out a long exhausted sigh, “Well this is pretty unusual, normally we have to track you down and drag you away screaming but I suppose this is a lot easier. ” He lowered holding cell As forcefield down and pointed, indicating for him to enter. “I’ll inform the Executive officer and your department head. Meals are at 0800, 1230 and 1700. You don’t get a choice and any dietary requirements will be provided by the chief medical officer so don’t try and pull the wool over our eyes. Any questions?”

  • NE Mathew’s

No sense making any trouble for this guy, he was just doing his job. “Nope” Bog grunted drooping his kit on the top of the console and entering the cell as directed. Looking over the cell and seeing it was standard issue, he chuckled. Give me ten minuets.

Setting him self on the bunk ad wedging his self into the corner he made himself comfortable.

Bog

Mathew’s raised the forcefield and took the engineers tool kit to the back room before returning to his station. Pressing his comm badge he spoke. =^= Commander Ryder and Lieutenant Hampton, sorry to bother you sirs but I have one Ensign Bog here who has just handed himself in and as per regulations it is required for me to inform yourselves of the detention. The Ensign has informed me that this was a result of a pending complaint.=^=

Ryder was in the CIC watching over the ships daily running when the call came over the communications channel, he was a little confused “What report?” he asked himself causing the closest science officer to turn, Ryder eyes made him return to his work. =^=I’m on my way, Ryder out=^=

The Trill office stood up and left command to the next ranking officer before heading to the brig. The journey didn’t take long and soon the confused XO found himself in the room. The Brig officer stood and pointed to the occupied cell before sitting back down and resuming whatever duty he was attending to.

“Ensign Bog, this is rather odd behaviour even for a Teller. Mind explaining why you have seemingly detained yoursel and what report you were referencing as I have had no such thing come across my desk.” Ryder stood unamused with his arms crossed.

  • Commander Ryder, XO

Having been playing with his com badge, when the XO walked in, Teller cooked it back in place and stood up. And straitened his uniform. “ Unless I am mistaken, he was composing said report when I left.” The Tellarite looked tired, his beard still matter from his loss of composure. “I fully expected him to have it filed buy now”. After taking a deep breath “either he isn’t the arrogant prig I took him for or he isn’t as efficient as I thought.”

Bog

The Trill didn’t seem phased by his words, Ryder had worked with Tellers before and knew that what he perceived as insults the Teller would see as a compliment. He would have to tread carefully to satisfy both the Chief Engineer and the ensign. “Well since he has yet to issue the report I don’t see why you should get to sit in here having three square meals a day brought to you whilst someone else has to cover your workload.” He motioned for the forcefield to be brought down which happened moments later.

  • Commander Ryder, XO

“You are a truly evil man,” Bog’s laugh was oh so much like the satisfied grunting of a hog. It just made the unflattering comparisons all the easier. “In truth I let my temper get the best of me, and didn’t feel that the enlisted should suffer for it” waving a hand at the security rating.

Bog the resurrected

As Bog talked the doors to the brig opened. “You haven’t begun to encounter a truly evil man, but.” A voice rang out from the entrance. “You will very soon.” William Hampton stood there, the doors closing behind him. His left was clutching a padd and his right hand was a fist. He walked straight for Raaul, never breaking his glare towards Bog. Standing next to the XO he handed him the padd. “I sent this to you half an hour ago, but it appears you were not in your office.” He thought of making an off color comment about who and what the XO had been doing and with whom, but decided against it, as he did not need to antagonize his superior. “You will find everything you need in this report to put Bog right back in his cell sir.” He said, an evil smirk plastered on his face, his eyes beamed with satisfaction and excitement.

Lt. William Hampton- CE

Ryder looked to the chief engineering officer who he hadn’t met personally yet but had hoped it would have been in better circumstances. “Well, I do have other things to attend to than just reading reports all day Lieutenant, contrary to belief.” He said taking the PaDD and reading it over, the incident about how the accused Ensign Bog had completely disregarded the Lietenant. He continued to read…

OOC: I have left it so you can write a description of what the report says.

Bog felt it start this time “ You told me to treat you like a Klingon officer, I guess I shouldn’t have restrained from beating smug little face in!” The tellurite’s beard and hair stood up and he was frothing at the mouth again, he looked positively feral as he advanced to rectify that oversight…

Bog the well digger

Ryder look up for a moment his free hand scratching his chin intently, wondering just where this argument was going.

Hampton knew Raauhl was going to interrupt soon, and he had to respond quickly before he was cut off. “The key word in that sentence.” He began, his grin widening, “Is OFFICER, I expect to be treated like an officer, Mr. Bog, that means protocols and the chain of command will be adhered to.” Hampton’s grin was betraying his pleasure at the situation, he had the upper hand, starfleet regulations was on his side, and common decency were on his side. There was nothing this puny pig could do or say to effect either of those things. He leaned slightly towards the Tellarite, hoping Bog would take a swing.

Lt. William Hampton- CE

There is a reason why ‘gut punched buy a Tellurite is a thing among the annals of Star Fleet lore…

The roast pig…

“Lieutenant, Ensign” Cut in Ryder, this time the PaDD now firmly down by his side. “Ensign is it true you said to the chief that there was no way to greet your superior less for base insults, and whats this… ‘Just another prig in a pretty uniform What does that even mean?” He shook his head holding his hand up indicating it wasn’t his chance to speak, “And… foamed the desk before saying that you refused to stick your snout up.. Im not even going to finish that sentence.” Ryder looked up a little disgusted by they waythe ensign had committed himself. “What do you have to say for yourself Ensign?”

  • Commander Raauhl, XO

The Tellurite didn’t heard the XO, he was beyond caring if he had. He only had one thought consuming his conscience and that was to wipe the prideful smirk of of William Hamptons face…

Damn the torpedoes…

Bog moved faster than Hampton had expected, but he was ok with that. The punch landed exactly where Bog had hoped. Hampton doubled over and keeled backwards against the wall. Pain shooting through him. Despite this, he smiled, Bog was finished. He looked up and saw the Tellarite advancing. ‘This it,’ he thought, ’ Come get me.’ Hampton stood straight back up, and waited for another blow, as long as he put up no fight, only Bog would be in a cell.

Lt. William Hampton- CE

“THAT IS ENOUGH!” Beamed the Executive Officer coming now to his full height, “I expect more from all my officers, This behavior is completely unacceptable.” This time Ryder’s voice had returned to its normal demeanor of cool, calm, and collected. He used the opportunity to get between the two me, using his frame to stop any further physical exchanges, the security office also had drawn his phaser unsure what to do. “Do I need to throw two of my engineers in the brig? and by the stars choose your next words carefully because if I detect so much as a fraction of discontent, sarcasm or lie I’ll have you in a containment cell not the brig.” He looked from Hampton to Bog expecting some sort of reply.

  • Commander Raauhl, XO

The bleary image of the XO brought The Tellurite up short, the sharp squeak of his teeth grinding was clearly heard along with the guttural squeal of frustration. The froth on his beard was tinged with his own blood.
It had been a long time, and his blood sung in his ears. He was still wholly fixated on the lieutenant slumped against the door.

The Russian boar…

Hampton simply held his ground, and was ready for another hit, when Ryder stepped in between. He took a few breaths. Processing his emotions, thoughts, and pain. “Well sir, my report speaks for itself.” Is all he said, catching his breath.

Lt. William Hampton- CE

“Yes well,” He said thankfully, the situation may be defused but the frothing Tellar next to him suggested otherwise. “Crewman, take Ensign Bog to his quarters and see to it someone is stationed outside his room if he gives you any hassle then deal with it as you see fit.” Ryder now addressed Bog, “Ensign, You will be confined to your quarters but I need my engineers in work so double shifts for a week under the watchful eye of a security detachment. I will not, and I mean this when I say it have officers assaulting another officer on board this vessel. I will review your case in a week, if you behave we may relax your punishment. Now get out of my sight.”

Mathews came alongside Bog his phaser drawn, “Sir Please lead the way.” Two more security officers incidentally entered the room, obviously, Mathews had called for back up.

  • Commander Raauhl, XO

The eyes that looked from Hampton to the security officer were not those of a civilized being, feral intelligence looked from the petty officers face to his phaser and back, with a most unpleasant smile.

Turning for the door he hoped that the lieutenant was foolish enough to stand his ground.

Seeing the two additional security personnel only made the blood pump louder, but no they didn’t deserve his wrath.

“Ey sir” cam out the animistic growl.
