Casela was on her way to engineering. Hampton had summoned her to see the final design of his shield. =^=Lt. Synthi-er to Cpt. Cobb. Sir could you join Lt. Hampton and myself down in main engineering? It has to do with the away team and the mental trauma reported by the Einstein.=^=

Casela stepped into main engineering and nodded to Lt. Hampton. “I’ve called the captain down so he can see what you’ve come up with. I hope that’s alright Lt. I know you prefer to have his approval.”

Lt. Synthi-er, CNS

Cobb arrived not too far behind Synthi-er. As he approached the pair, he appeared to be finishing the last bites of a cookie shaped not entirely unlike the Leviathan itself.

“Lt Hampton, Lt Synthi-er,” he nodded in greeting to the pair once his mouth had cleared of chocolate chips, although they might still detect a trace of mint on his breath, “So, what have you got for me, eh?”

Hampton waited for both Cobb and Synthi-er to arrive before clearing his throat. “I have developed a way to block out some of the signals being emitted onboard the Einstein which might be harmful to the crew. He motioned to the schematics pulled up at his engineering station. “It’s a miniature multiphasic deflector screen generator. It can produce a field up to one hundred feet that blocks the signals.” He had the smallest of smirks on his face. Hampton quite enjoyed getting attention for his work, and this was a moment of that.
