Doctor Kastil listened to the message twice to make sure she understood as much as she could. “I’ll start with a neurological suppressant, but I’ll need to know more about this radiation type to be able to formulate an accurate countermeasure and treatment plan. Ask the ARU people if they have more information than is shared by this video, otherwise I’ll have to make blind diagnosis and could potentially make the issue far worse instead of better.” The doctor turned to her people and gave instructions on chemical suppressants to counteract this potential radiation problem.

Casela nodded, “Is there any way to create some time of protective chemical specifically for the hypothalamus? The transmission indicates that’s where it starts. I’ll see if CSO GLaDOS can give us anymore information.” Casela moved over to another quieter area of sickbay. =^= Lt. Synthi-er to Cmdr. GLaDOS. Is there any information that you can share with myself and Lt. Kastil about the type of radiation the Einstein was dealing with. If we want to create something to counteract it, we need to know at least what type of radiation it is.=^=

=^= Ryder here, I’m currently with Miss GLaDOS and she is a little pre-occupied currently. However, there appeared to be indications that the device was emitting some kind of signal oscillating between 0.5 and 4 hertz but as far as radiation goes we currently don’t have enough data. I am sorry Lieutenant, Ryder Out.=^= Turning back to GLaDOS they continued their own conversation.

IC: Casela rolls her eyes. That man …that…ugh! They were trying to follow the captains orders just like them. Other than the head of ARU where else was she supposed to get the information? Hack the computer, sure she could do that, but weren’t they supposed to be all part of a ‘team.’ She rolled her eyes at that one. That was why she worked alone.
She moved back into main sickbay. “The only information they have for us doctor is that the signal oscillated between 0.5 and 4 hertz. We’ll have to wait till we get there to find out more about the specific type of radiation.”

Doctor Fey took her time to think about this, still unable to make a comprehensible theory. She rubbed her forehead in frustration, “The only thing I can think of with that frequency is Delta Brain Waves, but that, like all the other symptoms, has nothing in common that could give me a diagnosis to treat. Not even a viable theory to work with, the symptoms are just too random. Sorry but at this point I can’t be of much help.”

“I’m in agreement with that. However, I’ll be on one of the first team to go over. I’ll make sure the AARM sends back as much medical information as we can find. Hopefully that will allow you to get started.” It was the best she could offer to doctor at the moment.

The Doctor pondered on this for a moment. “Send me a corpse, preferably one that hasn’t had much time or ability to decay. That will allow me to better understand what happened medically. I’ll be counting on you to decipher the psychological.”

We’ll have to coordinate with ARU about a containment area to bring it on board and to transfer it. If you can handle that, I will get with Manhattan about taking care of that.” Casela nodded. “I will have to try and access the logs to try and evaluate their psychological state.”
