Side-Sim - Training Room - Working out old kinks

Ryder had already arrived and was waiting for Lieutenant Synthi-er who since having met the pair had been unable to find common ground but hopefully, this is what both of them needed to distinguish the flame of anger which had started growing. Dressed in gym clothes of shorts, a tank top, his hands wrapped and a gum shield in it was clear what his intentions were, they were going to spar out their difference for better or for worst. He had brought up all the memories and experiences Noa had of her and was allowing them to fuel him in the hope that it would be closure for the departed Trill.
- Commander Ryder, XO
Casela stepped off the turbolift and saw Ryder. She nodded aknoweldging she saw what his intention was. She was dressed in black gi pants and a black underarmour t-shirt. Without a word she stepped into the training room. She pulled her hair out, shook it and twisted it up into a low bun, held by an elastic band–her hair pins locked up with the rest of her weapons. She grabbed two tight woven hand wraps. She began wrapping them around her knucles, thumb, wrist and forearm. Criss-crossing the pattern and then wrapping down her fore arm and back up. Then she wrapped the other hand. Casela, you have to remember, sparing is practice. You aren’t here to prove a point, you are here to learn and improve. Admiral T’Jal’s words echoed to her over the years. Yeah well he has something else in mind, doesn’t he. T’Jal had drilled her to NEVER use telepathy when fighting. It had to be instinctual. If you doubted your interpretation of their toughts, you’d miss the telegraph in their movements. Casela. What can you learn from this? You must ALWAYS learn, or you die. T’Jal’s advice again.
Casela turned looking at Ryder. Her black eyes were ice and she was annoyed, maybe a little angry. When she had arrived she’d sensed the anger building in him and shrugged it aside. His anger was his problem. Well now it was hers, she supposed. Now she was starting to understand T’Jal and F’actar’s (T’Jal’s only friend and partner through their years in Recon Alpha) approach to the world. “So, this is your show. What now?”
