Quinn held the PaDD with her transfer orders in her left hand. She had two duffle bags on her shoulders but they balanced and didn’t effect her gait as she walked. On first glance it was easy to overlook her mostly because she was under five feet tall. At Four feet and eleven inches, she was used to slipping past folks before they noticed her. (She prided herself on it as a matter of fact.) Her hair was pulled back in a twisted bun on the back of her head, she had removed the dye from it showing off her naturally dark red locks. Though she was certain to get bored and start applying different colors again. First impressions were important and for once she was actively trying to not be a pain in anyone’s backside. She was good at her job whether it was paperwork or going after something troublesome.

He caught her movements out of the corner of his eye and, for a brief moment mistook her for that bloody jack-in-a-box of an anomaly, Gen. But no, the hair was too red. Not that he paid that much attention to such frivolities! Still, the duffle bags suggested that she was a new arrival and, overtaken suddenly by an incredibly rare wave of politeness, Cobb called out, “Ah, Miss. Can I help you with your bags there, eh?”

Quinn paused her steps and turned around looking up, way up to meet the gaze of the middle aged man, she offered up a cheeky smile showing off one dimple. “I haven’t been called Miss since training days but I thank you for the compliment anyway.” She eyed him a moment and added, “I am here to report to Captain Cobb as yeoman and I am also part of the Recovery Task Force.” She said lightly but not offering over one of the duffle bags yet. She wasn’t certain if it was a test of trust or if the offer was actually genuine. Quinn wasn’t one to trust right off the bat. Not without very good reasons.
