USS LeviathanLost in dictation, Laural turned her head toward her office door when she heard the door chime. She wasn’t expecting anyone, but that wasn’t a problem. As a counselor, she was always prepared for someone to reach out to her on an impromptu basis. Her office doors opened promptly at the sound of her voice and she smiled at the man in the Lieutenant Commander pips, whom she recognized from the ship’s manifest. “Hello, Commander,” Wit offered as she maneuvered her gravchair around her desk to greet him, the ever so slight hum signaling the chair’s movement. She offered her hand for a shake. “Laural Witley,” she offered by way of introduction.
