Hello Everyone -

I just want to say I’ve had a great time writing and roleplaying with everyone in the club. However, for several real life reasons I have found myself lacking the proper time and motivation to continue to offer quality writing and interactions. Therefore, by mid September, I plan on moving on from STF.

I leave with many regrets. My plans for a ship class of my own lay incomplete. Storylines I may never be able to finish. And the beginnings of friendships never to be written. And I sincerely apologize to all those to whom I have obligations. But when added to the other obligations - my work in the ministry and the improved scrutiny my worksite is facing - it has all become too much.

Even though I was only a small part of her history, I hope for many more years and many more adventures to take place aboard my beloved Levi. It is bittersweet leaving, but I have confidence in her Captain and her crew.

The Saracen is another ship I am especially fond of, and it saddens me to leave again after such a short time. Take courage, you have a good crew aboard, a great sim ahead, and you will bounce back.

I regret that I didn’t have much time on the Asimov or the Memorial. Poetically, it seems I have come full circle — leaving STF just as T’Mor is coming onto the Asimov. Though this time, much more international. My roles on these ships may be small, but I thoroughly enjoyed my time. I will miss writing with Linds and will likely not have a chance to read the end of Jack’s sim.

I hope STF can continue on, and this corner of the internet can be a safe and welcoming space for all Star Trek fans, old and new. I hope it brings joy and continues to offer a much needed creative outlet. I will miss being apart of it with you all.

It’s so sad to see you go. Of course I understand real life coming first, but I was just getting acquainted here. I wouldn’t have been able to do so without you. I am very grateful for the cooperation we have/had, even if all too short.

I suppose Vivian got what she want – a short tenure, heh.

There’ll always be a cabin ready for you here, should you ever want to come back. Feel free to pop by as an unrostered character whenever. There’ll be no AWOL limits, just a place for you to wind down among your people.
