The shuttle that entered the shuttle bay was oversized and designed for carrying small loads of cargo long distances. The pilot landed skillfully.

The rear cargo door opened and a large metallic figure stepped off carrying one of the large crates.

OOC: We can disregard this if it would make more sense to find Dorian on the planet if you’d like to bring him in via the sim.

Keetsal started by timidly poking her head around the line of security officers sent to meet the new Chief Engineer. She wasn’t overly familiar with his file, or what the whole situation was about. When asked about it Counselor Nyman refused to give a direct answer, as usual. All she knew is that, according to him, it was a priority to have his onboarding appointment scheduled as soon as possible. Hence, she was ready to do so as soon as he boarded.

Seeing the large metal frame, she stifled a gasp. But, quickly composing herself, she stepped forward to be in line with the security officers.

“Uhm, Lieutenant Dorian, sir?”

The large armored metal figure turned it’s head and regarded her, small antennae around the eyes pointed at her for a moment before continuing to slowly and randomly wave.

“Greetings counselor.” came the mechanical voice as he set the crate down with a thunk she could feel in the deck plating, “How may I be of assistance?”.

Dorian had been through this before and figured this would be his onboarding interrogation from the counseling branch of the ship but, there were always room for surprises. He did note the elevation in respiration, heartbeat, and the flush of her skin. If he hadn’t have been unloading the shuttle he would have been in a more human appearance.
