It was clear he wasn’t giving her much choice in the matter. Iphigenia knew she couldn’t afford to push back. She headed for the door, nodding slightly as she managed a weak smile. “Yes, of course,” she replied, her voice still shaky. “ “I’ll head to Sickbay right away.” She forced herself to meet his gaze, though she couldn’t shake the feeling that he saw right through her. Before she left, she said, “It’s probably best Commander Holmes gets checked out as well. She was injured during the incident.”Captain Henao
(Commanding Officer)Adam nodded “Of course, I’d not ask her to wander by herself” He didn’t look at Holmes “If you don’t mind I’d like to escort you, I’ll be kept in the loop until you’re deemed fit for duty and I’d like you to be kept informed.”

“I would appreciate the company, the Captain doesn’t make for good company when she is never here and with recent events I don’t feel entirely safe being alone” Played Hazel aka Holmes. She watched Adam trying to hide the sadness, she wondered if he ever knew just how much he influenced her as a child aboard the Leviathan, mentored her to become who she was today until… well it wasn’t worth thinking about that now, the timeline was already changing.
Commander Hazel Loughty aka Cmdr Holmes
Starfleet Temporal Agent
USS LeviathanAdam felt Holmes looking at him but didn’t look back, there was something off about her but he couldn’t grasp what it was, granted it could just be the strange situation and uniform. The Captain’s behaviour was another addition to the feeling but he suspected it went beyond that, it was close to becoming a hunch which he disliked, he’d often get hunches wich to him was just his subconscious mind making connections his conscious mind wasn’t aware of yet.
Iphigenia walked quickly to Sickbay, her mind racing. Every step felt like it echoed through the ship’s corridors, amplifying her anxiety. The encounter with Commander Holmes added a layer of complication; the temporal agent’s cryptic words hinted at events that were to take place that Iphigenia couldn’t fully grasp. Also she was sure Commander Magnusson’s stern yet concerned demeanor suggested that he saw through her facade. She could only hope that her feigned compliance would buy her enough time to figure out thiernext move. Holmes’ mention of not feeling safe alone resonated deeply with Iphigenia. In a way, she felt the same vulnerability, though for different reasons.
The doors to Sickbay slid open with a soft hiss, and Iphigenia stepped inside. The sterile, clinical environment did little to calm her nerves. She was greeted by Nurse Kanayo, whose Bajoran mannerisms were oddly reassuring.
Captain Henao
(Commanding Officer)“Hi, Captain,” greeted a second nurse, who rushed over to escort the CO to a bed. “Lieutenant Maxwell filled us in on the basics, we can run a full check on you and send the results for his official sign-off, if that’s alright?” She picked up a nearby tricorder and started the basics of said checkup, barring any objection from her patient.
NE Nurse Sierra
Medical AssistantIphigenia nodded absently, her thoughts still tangled around the deception and uncertainty. She glanced around, taking in the familiar yet unsettling surroundings of Sickbay.
Adam leaned back against the wall behind the bed keeping an eye on every person in the room, he hadn’t had a chance yet to share his suspicions with the Security Chief but the man seemed qualified enough to make the right decisions.

Adam was keeping an eye on every person in the room. It was clear he wasn’t going anywhere.
“Thank you, Nurse Sierra…Kanayo,” Iphigenia said, as she headed to a biobed. “I appreciate your thoroughness.”
As Kanayo began scanning her and the tricorder’s soft hum began, Iphigenia tried to focus on the immediate concerns. She knew that Magnusson’s keen eyes would be on her, scrutinizing her every move. Her feigned compliance had to be convincing, and she needed to find a way to buy time and gather information about Holmes’ cryptic warnings. This all gnawed at her thoughts, Holms had suggested that the future held dangers for the Leviathan and its crew.
Captain Henao
(Commanding Officer)“Captain, if I may,” Nurse Kanayo interrupted her thoughts, “is there anything specific you’re concerned about? Any symptoms we should be aware of?”
Cadet Mazelon
(Nurse)Iphigenia hesitated. “No, just a general unease. It’s been… a trying day.” she said offering a faint smile. The routine checkup continued, but her mind drifted back to the temporal agent’s warning. Not feeling safe alone. Was it a hint towards an upcoming betrayal? A hidden threat within the crew?
Captain Henao
(Commanding Officer)The nurse’s eyes softened with understanding. “We’ll make sure you’re in good hands, Captain.” Kanayo turned to Nurse Sierra and said, “She seems fine according to the tricorder readings, do you want me to check her anything else?”
Cadet Mazelon
(Nurse)“That should be fine - forward the results to Lieutenants Maxwell and Nyman,” she decided. Turning to ‘Holmes’ and Magnusson, she asked “Can I examine you as well, Commander?”
NE Nurse Sierra
Medical AssistantIphigenia cleared her throat softly,. “Nurse Sierra,” she began, her tone firm but edged with a trace of the unease she could not entirely mask. “When can I be cleared for duty? The ship and the crew need me back on the bridge.”
Captain Henao
(Commanding Officer)“Of course, ma’am,” the nurse agreed. “Just as soon as I get the Lieutenant’s-“
She was cut off by the CIO’s combadge chirping. =/\= “Maxwell to Magnusson. Unknown craft on an intercept course. I think you should get down here.” =/\=
Lieutenant Bradley Maxwell
Chief Medical OfficerAdam looked down at his chest then back at the Captain and the strange Intelligence officer, there was a moment of hesitation before he tapped his badge =^=Copy I’m on my way=^= He pushed himself off the wall “Full neurological check-up” He told the nurse and gave the Captain a short nod, playing the long game wasn’t available to him anymore so he’d go rough and fast. As he walked past Holmes he nodded to the Security Chief and his staff “She does anything strange just shoot her” He said pointing a thumb back at Holmes “Unless the Captain’s cleared, then she’s the Captain” He didn’t bother to whisper as he left the room.

Iphigenia watched Magnusson’s leave, the tension in her shoulders easing slightly as he disappeared from view. The hum of the ship’s systems seemed to grow louder in the sudden quiet. She turned her gaze to Nurse Sierra,
“Nurse, I need to get back on the bridge,” Iphigenia reiterated. “You heard the call. An unknown craft is approaching, I need to be out there” She kept her voice steady, though the undercurrent of impatience was undeniable.Captain Henao
(Commanding Officer)Keetsal was once again in the wrong place at the right time during this supply run of hers. The young Bolian cadet had been near the back and couldn’t help but eavesdrop. She noticed the Captain’s frustration and impatience. Despite it not being her place, she felt a need to speak up.
“I-” she spoke up, her voice cracking with nervousness, “I know you of all people understand, Captain, that we need to- like you always do- do what’s best for the ship and the crew. Right now, it’s in everyone’s best interest we make sure you are fully ready to return to duty. Mental well-being is just as important to productivity as physical.”
She brushed back a few white strands from her face, tucking them behind her ear, “At least… that’s what I think Counselor Nyman would say, if he were here.”

Resident in Counseling|(I’m going to assume Hazel AKA Holmes stayed with the group)
Hazel felt a sense of urgency as she addressed the cadet. “Given the absence of the counselor, the decision falls to you,” she stated firmly. “I, for one, wouldn’t want to kick off my career by holding a captain captive on her own ship based solely on some ‘concerns.’ Besides, does the captain appear unwell to you?” She recognized Chief Magnussen’s natural suspicion, acknowledging its value in his role. “Let’s find a middle ground. Quickly take a neural scan and analyze the results, but allow the captain to address the current situation, shall we?” She hoped to strike a balance between caution and allowing the captain to fulfill her duties.
Commander Hazel Loughty
Starfleet Temporal Agent
USS LeviathanIphigenia turned her attention to the counseling cadet, her impatience momentarily abated by the young Bolian’s earnestness. Despite the urgency of the approaching craft, she couldn’t ignore the genuine concern in Keetsal’s eyes.
“Cadet Oggar,” she began, her voice softening, “I understand your point, and I appreciate your concern. But right now, the ship needs me on the bridge.”
She then turned to Hazel, her expression firm and appreciative. “I agree, a quick neural scan should suffice.” Iphigenia rolled her shoulders, trying to dispel the last remnants of tension. “Let’s make it quick. We don’t have much time.”
Captain Henao
(Commanding Officer)“Um, okay, I guess,” Nurse Sierra agreed, running said scan and having Oggar take a look at it as well. “After the immediate situation’s over, I guess Lt. Maxwell can decide whether or not to examine you further, but barring that, you’re clear, ma’am.”
NE Nurse Sierra
Keetsal simply nodded in agreement with the nurse. The only thing she noticed on the scans were high levels of stress, which given the situation was understandable.
“Yes, well, nothing unordinary, that’s a good sign. I agree, it looks like you are perfectly fit for duty.”
“Thank you,” Said Iphigenia with an appreciative nod. She hopped off the bio bed and quickly exited sickay.
Hazel felt a pinch of empathy and a pang of guilt toward the nurse who was simply doing her job. Only she and the Captain knew what was truly at stake. Maybe when this was over, Hazel would apologize to the nurse—scratch that, to the whole crew if time permitted. She quickly followed the Captain to the CIC, determination in her step.

When Iphigenia arrived on the bridge, it resembled a hive of controlled activity. Officers manned their stations, their eyes fixed on screens and hands quickly moving over controls. The lights from the different consoles lights cast a glow on their focused faces. The approaching craft, a dark blip on the main viewer, loomed larger by the second.
“Status report,” Iphigenia ordered.
Lieutenant j.g. Ynuchausti turned from her console. “The unidentified vessel is closing fast, Captain. I have not been able to establish communications, and I am not sure if its weapons systems are armed and active. Estimated time to rendevous is approximately seven minutes.” Iphigenia looked at Hazel, she would always to Hazel to her, the name Holmes just didn’t seem to fit her, and gave her an inquiring look. “Shields up,” Iphigenia responded immediately. “Prepare for evasive maneuvers. Commander Holmes, any insights on their approach patterns?”
