The serene atmosphere of the room was abruptly shattered as two figures materialized in the captain’s quarters. The one in armoured attire staggered slightly upon arrival, clearly affected by their recent ordeal, yet still capable enough to brandish a weapon at the captain. “Lock the room, raise force fields,” they commanded, their voice strained but resolute, prompting their onboard AI to comply without hesitation. “Captain,” the AI intoned, its tone conveying a sense of urgency, “I advise against any rash actions.”With tension thick in the air, the figure levelled their gaze at the captain, their weapon steady. “Please, Captain,” they continued, their voices firm but tinged with a hint of desperation, “let’s not make this any more difficult than it needs to be.”

USS LeviathanIphigenia materialized in the captain’s quarters, her arrival marked by a defensive stance, her body was poised for action. Her eyes darted around the room, taking in the scene on high alert, instinctively assessing the situation. She fixated on the armored figure before her, wary of the weapon they brandished and the command they issued to lock the room and raise force fields. Her defensive instincts were telling her to fight her way out and although skilled in combat she wasn’t armed and thought that was a smart idea in place of the warning they had given her.
“Where am I? Who are you?” Iphigenia asked quickly, as she took cautious steps backward, maintaining a safe distance from the armored individual. Her gaze moved around the room, searching for any sign of familiarity or clues. “Why have you brought me here? Did you take a little girl from my ship?” Her questions ranged out in rapid succession, her concern evident as she scanned the area, hoping against hope to catch a glimpse of the missing child amidst the tension of the moment.
Captain Henao
(Commanding Officer)The figure groaned as they rose from the chair, their presumed weapon still trained on the Captain. “The child is safe, away from here,” they said, coughing as they spoke. “I was hoping to avoid any interaction with the crew, but it seems my actions have failed to prevent what is to come.” They staggered slightly, a clear indication of how the assault had taken its toll on them, offering the Captain a chance to strike.

USS LeviathanThe mention Hazel being safe alleviated some of her immediate concerns, but she remained wary of the armored figure before her. Their condition, marked by groans and visible struggle, hinted at an underlying vulnerability that clashed with their appearance. Iphigenia’s muscles tensed, ready to react however she needed to understand the full scope of the situation. With each cautious step backward, she maintained a strategic distance, keeping her options open and her senses sharp.
“I need more than just words. I need proof that Hazel Loughty is safe” Iphigenia replied, “I also need answers. Who are you really, and why did you bring me here?” Her eyes moved around the room, searching for clues that might shed light on their intentions.
Iphigenia observed the coughing fit, a subtle sign of weakness despite the figure’s facade. Despite the urge to exploit this vulnerability, she held back, realizing that violence might only escalate an already tense situation. Instead, she focused on gathering information, hoping to uncover the truth behind their unexpected encounter aboard the USS Leviathan.Captain Henao
(Commanding Officer)As the figure in the exoskeleton suit groaned, struggling to keep their arm raised, they finally succumbed to the strain and dropped it with a clatter. A series of coughs wracked their body, the effort of maintaining the facade clearly taking its toll. Despite the apparent weakness, determination burned behind the helmet’s visor.
Iphigenia couldn’t help but feel a bit of concern. “Are you alright?” she asked, her voice displaying genuine worry. Her instincts urged her to offer assistance, but caution held her back. There was too much at stake, too many unknowns in this situation.
“I can assure you, Captain,” came the strained voice from within the suit. With a flicker of light, the helmet dematerialized, revealing the face of an older woman with hazel eyes. There was a weariness in her expression, but also a sense of resolve.
“She is fine, for I am her,” Hazel declared, her voice stronger now, carrying an air of authority despite her physical condition. The revelation hung in the air, the implications sinking in as the truth of her identity dawned on those present in the room.
Commander Hazel Loughty
Starfleet Temporal AgentIphigenia was skeptical of their words her mind grappled with the paradox of the situation. She narrowed her eyes as she said “Forgive me for being skeptical, but this seems… improbable. The Hazel I am looking for is a child… a little girl and you are....not.”
Captain Henao
(Commanding Officer)Hazel chuckled softly, the sound carrying a mix of nostalgia and warmth. “No, no, I’m not a little girl anymore, but I’m still the same girl who had pizza nights with her favorite Captain,” she reminisced, a fond smile touching her lips. “The girl who ran wild in engineering and learned everything she knew from this crew.”
With a deliberate effort, Hazel pushed herself out of the chair, her movements careful yet determined. “Your security team will be here soon,” she added, her tone confident. “They’ll confirm my identity.” There was a quiet assurance in her words, a certainty born of familiarity and trust.
Commander Hazel Loughty
Starfleet Temporal AgentIphigenia’s skepticism dissolved into shock as she processed older Hazel’s words. The realization hit her and she immediately assumed the Hazel in front of her was from the future. Though she had heard of time travel and knew it was possible, such occurrences were rare, leaving her with a lot of questions. Foremost among them was why her ship had been invaded to take Hazel from her time.
Iphigenia quickly rushed to offer aid, her concern overriding any lingering doubts. “Hazel, what has happened? Everyone on the Leviathan is looking for you… the child version of you.” Her voice was filled with emotion which included fear, confusion, and of course, happiness that Hazel, little Hazel, had survived the kidnapping.
“And they will not find her, she is however safe of that I can assure you.” She explained not wanting to divulge much and still keeping her cards close to her chest.
“Please, tell me you’re from the future. If not, I’m not sure how Commander Loughty will react after returning and finding you all grown up.” Filled with worry and uncertainty, Iphigenia added, “Let me take a look at you.” She reached out, eager to assess any injuries. “We need to get you to sickbay.” She wanted to help the older version of the little girl she once knew.
Captain Henao
(Commanding Officer)“Commander Loughty…” Her tone carried a dismissive edge, her gaze distant as if focused on some unseen horizon. “By the time he returns to the ship, I will be gone.” She refrained from mentioning that her father would never return to the ship; it would be destroyed before he could make his way back from his current destination.
“Captain, I will accept medical attention, however, I must request that my real identity and presence here be kept to a minimum,” she continued, her words weighted with significance. “The timeline depends on it.” Once more, she chose not to divulge the full extent of her knowledge to her former captain. The timeline she sought to alter was the very one they were currently navigating, a truth too perilous to reveal.
Commander Hazel Loughty
Starfleet Temporal AgentYour secret is safe with me,” she murmured, her voice barely above a whisper as she assessed the woman’s condition. “You must tell me more, Hazel,” she urged quietly, her eyes displaying concern. “How did you end up here? And why is it so crucial that your presence remains hidden? Are you in trouble…is the Levi the target of some type of threat?”
Captain Henao
(Commanding Officer)Hazel, still visibly fatigued, spoke in a cryptic tone. “Not now, not yet,” she began, her words laden with urgency. “I am a Temporal Agent, or was… This mission isn’t strictly on the books, and I am certain I do not have much time before they realize I have gone. But I couldn’t just…” Her sentence trailed off, hinting at the weight of her undisclosed mission.
“For now, Captain, we need to come up with a story,” Hazel continued, her tone businesslike despite her weariness. “Firstly, we’ll need to explain why your internal sensors are showing Hazel in this room. I suggest blaming it on sensor damage or a virus left behind by the attacker. Second, I need to get out of this suit and into an old uniform. I think intelligence will work. Then, I should probably answer all your questions, but perhaps in a briefing with your senior staff for now.” Her directives were clear, outlining the immediate steps needed to navigate the delicate situation they found themselves in.
Commander Hazel Loughty
Starfleet Temporal Agent
USS LeviathanIphigenia listened Hazel. A Temporal Agent? The secrecy surrounding such a role was notorious, and the fact that Hazel was here, injured and seeking refuge aboard the Leviathan, only deepened the mystery.
As Hazel outlined her plan, Iphigenia nodded in agreement, her thoughts aligning with the need for quick action. “Understood,” she replied softly, her voice steady despite the apprehension about keeping a secret from her crew. “I’ll do everything I can to ensure your safety and maintain the integrity of your mission.”
As for the sensors, we need to prepare to implement sensor damage protocol,” she said. “I am not an engineer…so I wouldn’t be able to perform this task myself. Is this something you can do, if not I would suggest that you allow me to bring in someone I can trust to to keep your secret to implement it.” Iphigenia knew she needed someone reliable and discreet for this delicate task, and Dlayne, a cadet in engineering, seemed like the perfect choice. He was a cadet, wanting to prove himself, and would be open to the task. She also considered her CIO, Magnusson, as she was sure he could complete the task and due to the nature of his role he was good at keeping secrets. “I have the perfect people in mind. We can trust either one of them.”Captain Henao
(Commanding Officer)Hazel paused for a moment, contemplating her options. “I can manage it on my own, or rather, my enhancements can,” she explained. After a brief silence, she continued, “I’m glad you have confidence in your crew. If you trust them, then so do I. However, I cannot overstate the importance of what I have to share with you, nor the consequences if we mishandle it… poorly.” Her words trailed off, hinting at a deeper significance.
“May I have access to your computer?” she inquired, her tone serious and determined.
Commander Hazel Loughty

USS LeviathanWith a nod, Iphigenia acknowledged Hazel’s request. “Of course,” she replied, gesturing towards the nearby computer console. “I’ll grant you access to our computer systems.” Iphigenia’s attention turned to the task granting Hazel access to the ship’s computer. She needed to ensure that their sensors were properly disabled to avoid any unwanted attention while Hazel carried out her mission.
Iphigenia knew she had to tread carefully, to ensure her crew’s safety and Hazel’s mission’s success. But with each passing moment, the weight of their clandestine collaboration pressed down upon her shoulders like a heavy burden.Captain Henao

USS LeviathanAdam arrived outside the Captain’s quarters with the Security Chief “See if your codes can open the door”
CIO
Iphigenia tensed as she heard Adam’s voice outside the door, accompanied by Mavix. Time was running out.
“Stay calm, Iphigenia,” she whispered to herself, her heart pounding in her chest. With a quick glance at Hazel, she motioned for her to continue working on the computer console while she dealt with the unexpected visitors.
Taking a deep breath to steady herself and with a final, keystroke, Iphigenia completed her task, ensuring that their sensors were disabled and their presence masked from prying eyes but this was only temporary. She knew the CIO wouldn’t be fooled. Turning away from the console, she took another deep breath, readying herself for what lay ahead.Captain Henao
(Commanding Officer)Ash nodded and tapped a control on the door, “Computer, unlock the door to the CO’s quarters, Emergency Security Override Mavix-Theta-Victor-986.” She stood back as if waiting for the door to release.

The door opened, though not because of the override, it seems whatever mechanical or technological hold that had the ship was gone.
Commander Oliver Loughty
Executive Officer
USS LeviathanHazel, now assuming a guise to conceal her true identity, had fully disengaged her exosuit, revealing herself in a commanding Starfleet uniform that seemed slightly out of sync with the current time period. Adorning her wrist was a multifunctional device, unfamiliar to the newcomers but unmistakably recognizable to the Captain, having witnessed Hazel employ it on numerous occasions. It served as a versatile tool, resembling something the Borg might utilize, yet distinctly bearing the insignia of Starfleet.
This device served as a tricorder, replicator, and bore an uncanny resemblance to Hazel’s previous alterations. With its capabilities, she had subtly modified her facial features, rendering herself virtually unrecognizable. Only those intimately familiar with Hazel would discern the subtle nuances in her appearance; even her eyes bore a different, enigmatic gleam.

USS LeviathanAdam went in first, in his hand, he had a type two phaser that moved with his eyes as he scanned the room as soon as he saw the stranger next to the captain he Aim the weapon at the strange woman and locked eyes “ Identify yourself” He said without us uttering a word towards the captain
CIO
AS the door swung open, Iphigenia spun around and said “It’s okay, Lt. Commander Magnusson,” her voice cutting through the tension in the room. “Stand down.”
Turning her attention to the woman beside her, she held her hand toward her this is”This is Commander… ” she lifted her eyebrows at Hazel giving her a chance to identify herself as she didn’t know what name to use that wouldn’t give away her identity.Iphigenia held her gaze steady, willing Adam to trust her judgment.
Captain Henao
(Commanding Officer)Hazel, displaying her sharp wit, smoothly introduced herself, “Holmes, Commander Holmes, Starfleet Headquarters Intelligence, Special Projects,” she said, extending her hand. “And no, I’m not related to the detective, although the name similarity is quite the coincidence,” she added with a playful smirk. As if reciting from memory, she continued, “Lieutenant Commander Magnússon, born in Iceland, joined Starfleet in 2367, graduated to the Dauntless in 2371. Post-Dominion War, you were assigned to the USS Ark Angel, then later to Starfleet Intelligence, New France Colony. Divorced, one daughter, and you have a cousin also in the Intelligence Division. We should grab coffee sometime.” Hazel’s delivery was flawless, but little did they know, her impeccable recall was courtesy of the neural link embedded in her wrist, seamlessly feeding her information in real-time.
Glancing down at her uniform, Hazel remarked, “This is a new edition. I’m sure the Leviathan and her crew will receive the replicator files soon.” She explained her covert presence, “I was incognito, with only the Captain aware of my presence, hosting me in her quarters. I was shocked when the ship was attacked, and she suddenly appeared here.” Her tone shifted slightly as she inquired, “Do you have any idea who was behind the attack?”
Commander Hazel Loughty
Starfleet Temporal Agent
USS LeviathanIphigenia studied Hazel carefully, impressed by her quick wit and seamless integration into the situation. She nodded approvingly at the introduction, acknowledging Hazel’s expertise in intelligence.
Adam didn’t react outwardly but he didn’t lower his phaser nor change his stance, he did glance at the Captain questioningly, knowing his background was evidence of having access but that didn’t mean SI access, The Captain did seem to trust the woman but some pieces didn’t quite fit.
Iphigenia looked back at the SecurityChief and CIO, then said, “Um…her arrival was unexpected, but it seems we’re in need of all the expertise we can get at the moment.”
Now looking back at Hazel she said, “We’re still piecing together the details of the attack, But we suspect it may be linked to recent tensions in the sector. However, we’re open to any insights you may have, Commander. Your expertise could prove invaluable in the situation.”Captain Henao
(Commanding Officer)Ash, for some reason less eager to go in phasers blazing, side stepped Magnussen and stood at the right of the CO’s desk, “Ah have t’ask, how the hell did ya get aboard without us detecting you, and are those folk attacking different decks anything to do with you?”
-Lieutenant Ashara Mavix: Chief of Security-
I joined the ship when your executive officer departed, the ship I was on was under cloak and with one shuttle leaving it was easy to have me come aboard, Ofcourse your XO and the Captain knew so you won’t find any logs of my arrival, it was paramount my being here be kept to a minimum need to know but with the recent attack you became need to know, I apologise that as chief of security you was not informed sooner but the plan was that I would be gone without raising any suspicion.” Hazel Paused to let there be any more questions.
Commander Hazel Loughty
Starfleet Temporal Agent
USS LeviathanIphigenia observed Lieutenant Mavix closely, studying her facial expressions and body language for any signs of skepticism or acceptance regarding Hazel’s explanation. The Chief of Security was right to be suspicious of unexpected arrivals, especially amid a crisis.
Sensing the need to address Mavix’s concerns directly, Iphigenia spoke again. “Lieutenant Mavix, I understand your apprehension. Trust is essential, particularly in situations as precarious as this one. Rest assured, Commander....Holmes’ expertise and intentions align with our goals of resolving this crisis swiftly and effectively.”
Iphigenia hoped her words would alleviate any doubts if there were any. Trust would need to be earned over time, but for now, their focus had to remain on the task at hand: securing the ship and uncovering the truth behind the attacks.Captain Henao
(Commanding Officer)=/\= “Maxwell to Magnusson, status update?” =/\=
Lieutenant Bradley Maxwell
Chief Medical OfficerAdam looked between the two women and made his decision, he looked at the Security Chief and gave him a nod as Adam holstered his weapon, taking a step back further from the stranger and the Captain =^=Magnusson here, I’ve located the Captain, she seems unharmed” He paused and looked at Holmes “I’ll need someone to give her a medical check before restoring her access =^= He muted his side “Due to you being abducted I deactivated your command authorization, you’ll need to be cleared by medical before reinstatement” He said matter-of-factly “We’ve not received any new intelligence, we’re still a few hours off from regaining power and the assailant has not been located” He looked at Holmes a rather pointed look at that “What happened to you, Ma’am?”
Iphigenia nodded at Adam, it was protocol for him to deactivate her command access.
CIO“Something Ah’d like to know mahself.” Ash mumbled, rather loudly.
-Lieutenant Ashara Mavix: Chief of Security-
She shifted uncomfortably under Adam’s scrutiny, and when the Chief of Security seconded the question, her gaze moved away momentarily before returning to meet his. It was difficult for her to be deceptive, especially to one of her most trusted officers. “I…I’m not entirely sure,” she began hesitantly, her voice faltering slightly. “When I was transported, I found myself here in this room… There were… assailants,” she continued, her words sounding strained as she struggled to maintain her composure and come up with a believable scenario. “But beyond that, it’s all a bit hazy,” she said, her eyes avoiding his as she spoke. “Holmes rescued me shortly after,” she added, though her tone lacked the conviction she wished to convey.
Captain Henao
(Commanding Officer)Adam looked at the Captain, just looked, his stony face showed absolutely no expression but there was somehow an implication as if he’d done a full Vulcan raised eyebrow at the Captain’s retelling of events. “I understand” He said simply “I think it best to get you to Sickbay Ma’am, you might have injures” He spoke calmly and politely as one should to a superior but it was clear he wasn’t making a suggestion. Confirm that the Captain is uninjured, keep stranger in check, get truth in private He formed the checklist stepping back and raising his hand indicating the door.
CIO
It was clear he wasn’t giving her much choice in the matter. Iphigenia knew she couldn’t afford to push back. She headed for the door, nodding slightly as she managed a weak smile. “Yes, of course,” she replied, her voice still shaky. “ “I’ll head to Sickbay right away.” She forced herself to meet his gaze, though she couldn’t shake the feeling that he saw right through her. Before she left, she said, “It’s probably best Commander Holmes gets checked out as well. She was injured during the incident.”
Captain Henao
(Commanding Officer)Adam nodded “Of course, I’d not ask her to wander by herself” He didn’t look at Holmes “If you don’t mind I’d like to escort you, I’ll be kept in the loop until you’re deemed fit for duty and I’d like you to be kept informed.”
CIO
“I would appreciate the company, the Captain doesn’t make for good company when she is never here and with recent events I don’t feel entirely safe being alone” Played Hazel aka Holmes. She watched Adam trying to hide the sadness, she wondered if he ever knew just how much he influenced her as a child aboard the Leviathan, mentored her to become who she was today until… well it wasn’t worth thinking about that now, the timeline was already changing.
