The serene atmosphere of the room was abruptly shattered as two figures materialized in the captain’s quarters. The one in armoured attire staggered slightly upon arrival, clearly affected by their recent ordeal, yet still capable enough to brandish a weapon at the captain. “Lock the room, raise force fields,” they commanded, their voice strained but resolute, prompting their onboard AI to comply without hesitation. “Captain,” the AI intoned, its tone conveying a sense of urgency, “I advise against any rash actions.”

With tension thick in the air, the figure levelled their gaze at the captain, their weapon steady. “Please, Captain,” they continued, their voices firm but tinged with a hint of desperation, “let’s not make this any more difficult than it needs to be.”

Iphigenia materialized in the captain’s quarters, her arrival marked by a defensive stance, her body was poised for action. Her eyes darted around the room, taking in the scene on high alert, instinctively assessing the situation. She fixated on the armored figure before her, wary of the weapon they brandished and the command they issued to lock the room and raise force fields. Her defensive instincts were telling her to fight her way out and although skilled in combat she wasn’t armed and thought that was a smart idea in place of the warning they had given her.

“Where am I? Who are you?” Iphigenia asked quickly, as she took cautious steps backward, maintaining a safe distance from the armored individual. Her gaze moved around the room, searching for any sign of familiarity or clues. “Why have you brought me here? Did you take a little girl from my ship?” Her questions ranged out in rapid succession, her concern evident as she scanned the area, hoping against hope to catch a glimpse of the missing child amidst the tension of the moment.
