A blue luminescence flooded the spare parts locker on deck 27, heralding the arrival of a transported individual. With a metallic click and a pneumatic hiss, the person within the suit adjusted to their new surroundings, their breath catching as they acclimated. “AMOS, what’s my status?” she queried, her voice tinged with urgency and pain.

“You’ve sustained several burns, and your left hand is currently immobilized. Additionally, you have a broken shoulder and several ribs, for which I’ve administered pain relief, though it’s temporary. You require immediate medical attention. While the personal shielding absorbed most of the damage, the blunt force trauma caught us off guard, depleting a significant portion of our energy supply. As a result, beaming back to the ship is not feasible, especially given its current location,” AMOS responded calmly, relaying the critical information.

An exasperated scream escaped her lips as frustration bubbled to the surface. “And what about the other status?” she demanded, her tone laced with anxiety and impatience.

“There have been no notable effects observed,” AMOS replied succinctly, his analysis unwavering. The woman’s hand collided with the bulkhead in a moment of emotional release, a grim reminder of her vulnerability amidst the chaos. “What’s the situation aboard the ship?” she inquired, seeking to regain control amidst the uncertainty.

“The senior staff are currently convening in the ready room, and security is diligently searching for the missing child and you. While I’ve managed to evade detection, they’re aware that you haven’t beamed off their ship. Commander, you’re displaying signs of distress. Perhaps it’s best to rest?” AMOS suggested, his concern evident in his synthesized voice.

Pushing herself upright, she activated her visor, determination flashing in her eyes. “Provide me with the route to beta sickbay, avoiding all main thoroughfares,” she commanded, her resolve unyielding as she prepared to navigate the perilous path ahead.

With a sense of urgency propelling her forward, she navigated the dimly lit corridors toward beta sickbay, every step a struggle against the pain coursing through her body. AMOS guided her with precision, offering directions to evade the main routes and minimize the risk of detection. As she neared her destination, her vitals continued to plummet, a grim testament to the severity of her injuries.

Entering beta sickbay, she was greeted by the sterile hum of medical equipment and the comforting presence of a nurse. Before she could utter a word, and half way raising her weapon a wave of dizziness washed over her, the room spinning as darkness encroached upon her vision. With a gasp, she collapsed to the floor, her consciousness slipping away, AMOS activated the self preservation system and he too went dormant.

Laurel crossed to greet the entering person as the sickbay doors opened, stopping short and stumbling back as she registered two things. First: that the figure was encased in a suit. Second: that said suited individual was leveling a weapon. She froze in shock, but before the figure could bring the weapon up, it collapsed, the suit going dark. She took a long, shaking breath and walked over to the collapsed individual, trying to find a release for the suit.

NE Nurse Laurel West

Cadet Oggar had been running errands, and which happened to have landed the young Bolian in Beta Sickbay around the time of the incident. During the Red Alert, in a panic, she had been unsure if she should return to her station, but decided instead to shelter in place behind one of the storage cabinets.

When the nurse had moved to see who entered, all seemed normal until she heard the thump of the body hitting the floor. Cautiously, peered over from behind the cabinet door,

“Nurse West?” she called, “Are you okay?”

Seeing that Nurse West was still standing, Oggar trotted over to beside the Ensign, and saw the armored stranger collapsed in front of her. While they had obviously came in armed, at the moment they were practically helpless. A dozen thoughts raced through her mind at once,

“Who is… what… why would…” she asked frantically, before one clear thought made its way out, “What can I do to help?”

If the medical staff attempted to they would find they could if they so chose to be able to move the intruder, however scans would not be able to penetrate the exoskeleton suit.

Cadet Oggar was still a bit flustered, but determined to put her adrenaline to good use. Noticing the scans couldn’t penetrate the suit, she thought about their other options.

“Maybe- let’s get them on the biobed. If we can’t remove the armor maybe we can get better scans.” Oggar suggested, as she moved to a better position to help lift the unconscious intruder.

As they moved the body it showed no signs of struggle and despite the exoskeleton suit it was remarkably light.

As Atos entered the secondary sickbay, his eyes widened in alarm as they fell upon the form of the Asailiant. “Clear the area!” he commanded sharply, his voice echoing with authority as other security officers and RTF personnel rushed in.

Tapping his comm badge urgently, Atos relayed the situation. =^=Captain Henao, Lieutenant Commander Magnusson, and Lieutenant Mavix. We’ve located the assailant in Beta Sickbay. They are… unconscious,=^= he reported, his tone brimming with urgency and concern for the safety of the crew.

Several minutes later, Lieutenant Ashara Mavix crossed the threshold into sickbay, tailed by two of her junior officers. “Ah hope y’all don’t mind,” she began, “But the three of us have our phasers set to max stun, we don’t know how volatile these folks could be.”
