A figure clad in a red, gold and black exoskeleton materialises in the corridor outside main engineering their presence ominous and foreboding.

Without hesitation, the figure unleashed a burst of energy from their weapon, striking down two unsuspecting officers who had been in the wrong place at the wrong time. The corridor echoed with the sound of their stunned cries, a grim reminder of the danger lurking just beyond the ship’s bulkheads.

The figure’s assault does not end there. With a swift and calculated motion, they kneel down and armed what appeared to be a grenade, its ominous glow casting eerie shadows against the metallic walls. With a precise throw, the grenade soared through the air and into main engineering, where it detonates with a deafening roar. It’s intent to stun not maim.

Chaos erupted within the heart of the ship as alarms blared and emergency protocols were initiated.

Meanwhile, the figure stood unmoved in the corridor waiting for the weapon to finish its job, their identity shrouded in mystery behind the imposing red exoskeleton. It was clear that they were no ordinary intruder, but rather a formidable adversary with unknown intentions and capabilities. The figure seemingly content with the correct progress enter main engineering.

Ruuk was stood in Engineering when the sudden chaos broke out. Panic filled his entire body and he froze for a moment as he watched the Grenade bounce into Main Engineering and detonate. Then his attention was drawn to the two injured officers. The relative calm of an Engineering Department quietly at work was shattered and Ruuk’s world suddenly seemed to be crumbling and falling away from him.
A terrifying thought snapped him out of his panicked stupor ‘The Warp Core!’ He thought to himself as his mind quickly imagined what might have happened if that Explosive had landed closer to it.
His ears still ringing, Ruuk set off running, grabbing a Phaser on the way, to a near by console. As he ran he thumped the comm badge on his chest =/\=”Security! Intruder Alert in Engineering!”=/\= He yelled over the sounds of the Alarms, Alerts and the general chaos that was unfolding around him.
Once he reached the console, he started tapping away. “Take some Cover where you can!” He shouted to his Engineering Staff. “We need to start securing critical systems!”
For a brief moment Ruuk felt sorry for himself as all of his worst nightmares seemed to be happening to him all at once. He hadn’t been Chief Engineer for very long and now everything was going so very wrong. He set about carrying out his own instruction, but hesitated for a moment. He felt like he didn’t know what to do. This was an unprecedented situation for him.
He was working quickly, every so often he glanced at the doorway before carrying on tapping away the console.

Despite the valiant efforts of the under-armed engineering officers, the imposing figure pressed onward into engineering, exhibiting a determination that suggested a clear objective in mind. The scene was chaotic, with several engineers sprawled on the floor, their fates uncertain.

In a bold but ill-fated attempt to halt the figure’s advance, one stout-hearted engineer brandished fine adjusting tool, aiming it at the figure’s imposing exoskeleton. However, the anticipated effect fell short, as the figure merely flinched, demonstrating an unsettling resilience. Even more alarming was the subsequent reaction: a surge of energy rippled through the exoskeleton, sending the petty officer careening across the floor, his hair standing on end from the encounter with the mysterious force.

As the injured petty officer received aid from a fellow crew member, the figure paused momentarily, glancing over their shoulder as if to observe the petty officers well being before moving on directly towards the engineer known as Ruuk.

Ruuk’s body ran cold with fear. He felt at a total loss of how to respond. In a panic hurry he held his Phaser in both hands and aimed it the creatures head. However, he had no intention of firing the weapon, based on how it had already responded to attempts made at it, he had more than a sneaking suspicion that it would do little to impede the creature.
“Stop this attack, and tell me what you want from us!” He barked at the creature.
As the creature moved towards him, Ruuk wasn’t expecting a response from it, as the upcoming confrontation played out in Ruuk’s mind, he anticipated being batted to one side, or simply being smitten down on the spot.
The best that Ruuk could hope for at this moment, was delaying or distracting the Creature long enough to enable his Engineers to try and get to safety.
